Abstract:
Described is an automatic safety spring clip with rapid coupling and release consisting of a main body (33) which on one side presents means of fixing to a ring (31) connectable to a cable or a cord or similar and on the other side is equipped with a fork-shaped "invite" area defined by appendices (34, 35) which allow the rapid centring of the spring clip on the object to be coupled. The spring clip comprises a first element (36) one end of which is shaped like a hook (37) which interferes in the "invite" area of the main body, the first element being mobile and rotating around a pin (38) restrained to the main body (33); the first element (36) is equipped with a housing (42) in proximity to the pin (38), and a second element (41), or operating button, opposite the pervious element with respect to the longitudinal centreline of the main body (33), mobile and rotating around a second pin (40) restrained to the main body (33), the second element being placed in elastic contrast (39) and provided with a mechanical profile consisting of a tooth (43) which interacts with the housing (42) of the first element (36) in order to move the latter from an open position to a closed position and vice versa, the second element thus taking on the role of a lever control with respect to the first element.
Abstract:
Portable, compact hanging systems that enable a person to hang items from a wide variety of different objects and surfaces in order to free their hands for other activities are described. The hanging systems include hook and gated-loops systems composed of a hook connected to a gated loop by way of a rotatable hinge that provides multiple degrees of freedom. Hanging systems also include double hook systems that are connected by flexible joints for convenient storage and expansion into unfolded configurations when in use.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lifting hook, its safety latch and a locking and releasing device of the safety latch. The lifting hook (1) comprises a hook body (2) having a hook stem (4) and tip (5).The safety latch (6) has a fastening end (7) and a free latch end (8), the fastening end of the safety latch being pivotably fastened close to the stem so as to move the safety latch between an open position and a closed position, the safety latch being in its open position substantially against the inside of the hook body in a position that leaves a hook jaw (G) free, while in the closed position the latch end extends across the hook jaw to the hook tip, closing the jaw on the inside thereof. A spring arranged between the safety latch and hook body forces the latch end into the closed position. The locking and releasing device (10) of the safety latch comprises a locking element (11) arranged on the back surface of the safety latch (6), which element in its locking position against the surface of the hook body engages the inner surface area of the hook jaw (G) at a distance below the fastening end (7) of the safety latch, and a releasing lever (12) that extends to the front side of the safety latch and, when turned, releases the locking element and, thus, allows the safety latch (6) to turn into its closed position.
Abstract:
A karabiner (10) comprises a body portion (12) and a gate portion (16) which is mounted to the body portion about a pivot (18), the gate (16) defining a free end (20) which is arranged to inter-engage with a nose (22) of the body portion to define a closed ring for receiving a rope (50) passing therethrough and including a first sleeve (26) which, when the ring is closed, is moveable between a first position where the gate is free to rotate about the pivot in at least one direction, and a second position where the sleeve at least partly encloses the free end of the gate and the nose and substantially prevents rotation of the gate about the pivot, and further including a second sleeve (28) which is internally threaded and which is mounted on an externally threaded portion (30) of the gate for movement towards and away from the free end of the gate and which may be rotated towards the first sleeve when the first sleeve is in the second position, to prevent movement of the sleeve into first position in which the gate is free to rotate.
Abstract:
A hook is attached to a carabineer via a mechanism which allows the hook to be deployed to function as a hook or stowed in a compact configuration. The combined carabineer-hook can be used to clip together more than one item or the hook can be deployed, the carabineer portion can be clipped to one item, the hook can be engaged with a surface, and the item can then be hung off of the hook. In addition, the hook can be deployed to hold one or more items while the carabineer is used to clip to another item (such as a ring, cable, rope, rail, etc.).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lifting hook comprising: a hook body (2) with a hook stem (4), a tip (5); a safety latch (6) with a fastening end (7) and a free latch end (8), the fastening end (7) being pivotally fastened close to the stem (4) for movement between an open and a closed position, the safety latch being in the open position substantially against the inside of the hook body in a position that leaves the hook jaw (G) open while in a closed position the latch end (8) extends across the hook jaw to the tip of the hook, closing the jaw from the inside; and actuating means (9) of the safety latch arranged between the safety latch and the hook stem, the actuating means (9) of the safety latch (6) comprising delay means for returning the safety latch from the open position to the closed position in a delayed manner. The invention also separately relates to a safety latch of a lifting hook.
Abstract:
The invention relates to means for fastening various items for the transportation thereof. The fastening device comprises a hand grip (1), a hook (2), a locking member (5) and a spring (7). The locking member (5) is in the form of a double-armed lever hingedly attached to the hand grip (1). The arms (8, 9) of the lever are arranged at an angle to one another with the free ends of the arms oriented towards each other. The hand grip (1) is provided with a guide (10) for one arm (9) of the lever. The free end of the other arm (8) is pressed against the free end (11) of the hook (2) under the effect of a spring (7) and can be released during the fastening of a load. According to a second embodiment, the fastening device comprises a hand grip (1), a hook (2), a locking member (5) and a spring (7). The fastening device is provided with a control pin (12). One end of the locking member (5) is hingedly attached to the hand grip (1) and connected to the spring (7), while the other end is connected to the control pin (12). The technical result is an improvement in fastening reliability.
Abstract:
The present invention is a lockable snap-clip fastener (10) with two spring-biased jaw members (12, 14) and a slidable locking bar (16). The same spring (13) that biases the jaws (12, 14) holds the locking bar (16) in position. Since the bar (16) is held in either the locked or unlocked position, it is more secure and must be positively actuated in order to transition from one configuration to the other.
