I0), threaded cap (F5.13.1 1 ) and release handle (F5.13.12). Bolt holes (F5.13.2), lower protection rod (F5.13.31 ) and upper protection rod (F5.1 3.32). Two lower protection rods (F5.13.14) and one upper protection rod (F5.1 3, 15) with strengthening link (F5.13.16). Push lock rod (F5.1 3,8) is equipped to lock sliding assembly (F5.13.3) in to possible positions in in lock down holes (F5.13.9).
Abstract:
Described is a self locking safety spring clip comprising at least a main body (21) provided with an opening (38) designed to receive retaining means, for example a ring, wherein the main body (21) houses a first locking element (25) equipped at an end with a hook-shaped part or hook (26) and movable rotatably about a first pin (27) integral with the main body, as well as a second locking element (29) opposite the previous one, movable rotatably about a second pin (30) integral with the main body, the second locking element (29) being equipped with a magnetic element (31) designed to attract the retaining means thus facilitating the coupling and simultaneously the locking to the hook-shaped part or hook (26).
Abstract:
In a method, an article of unitary construction is blow molded and integrally provided with a clip for securement to another item. The clip has an arm initially blow molded into an open elevated configuration. The arm is pivotable into closed and open configurations. When closed, the arm is in selectively releasable and secure engagement with a catch on the article. The arm is biased towards the catch. When open, the arm is depressed relative to and biased towards the closed configuration. The open configuration is traversed to secure the article to the item. In the open elevated configuration, the arm is elevated relative to the closed configuration. The arm is preferably a carabiner-type arm. The article is preferably formed of a composition of matter including polyethylene and plastic additives to provide the arm with sufficient pre-built tension to stay in the aforesaid selectively releasable and secure engagement.
Abstract:
A carabiner includes a body having a first arm extending from the body and a second arm extending from the body, a first gate pivotally coupled to the body adjacent the first arm for movement relative to the first arm, and a second gate pivotally coupled to the body adjacent the second arm for movement relative to the second arm. The carabiner also includes a blocking member supported by the body. The blocking member is movable between a first position, in which the first and the second gates are movable relative to the first and second arms, a second position, in which the first gate is inhibited from moving relative to the first arm and the second gate is movable relative to the second arm, and a third position, in which the first and the second gates are inhibited from moving relative to the first and second arms.
Abstract:
A key ring includes a body having an upper ring and a lower ring, the upper ring having a closable opening. The upper ring and the lower ring are separated by a pinch point. The pinch point includes a first and second side of the body, the first and second sides of the body in very close proximity at the pinch point, such that a key sliding along the lower ring of the body may not easily pass the pinch point to the upper ring.
Abstract:
A connection device is operable to hold an object, such as a key, dog tag, and the like. The connection device broadly includes a ring and a body. The ring includes a ring end and is coupled to the body at a connection location spaced from the end. The ring presents a projecting ring portion defined between the connection location and the ring end. The projecting ring portion cooperates with the body to define therebetween a space so as to accommodate the object. The body includes an end-engaging portion spaced from the connection location. The ring end is engageable with the end-engaging portion of the body to secure the object on the projecting ring portion.
Abstract:
A carabiner (1) is provided comprising a substantially C- frame (2) having a first end (3) and a second end (4), at least an internal gate (5) and an external gate (6). The frame (2) the internal gate (5) and the external gate (6) define a continuously enclosed inner region (8) in a closed configuration. Each of the gates (5, 6) has a pivot (5h, 6h) on one of the first and second end (3, 4). The gates are configured so as to be opened with respect to the frame (2) in view of a rotation about the respective pivot (5h, 6h), one in a first direction towards the inner region (8) and one in a second direction opposite to the first direction. Biasing means (5b, 5c, 6b, 6c) are provided to bias the gates in a closed position. Preferably the internal gate (5) is pivotably coupled to the frame at a first end (3) and the external gate (6) is pivotably coupled to the frame (2) at the second end (4) opposite to the first end (3). The carabiner includes an interstitial region (9, 209, 210) to receive at least a portion of a user's finger so as to facilitate the opening of the gates
Abstract:
