Abstract:
This invention is a floor game including tiles (4) which are laid on a playing surface (E) forming a playing area (10), and polarized glasses (12). Each tile is covered by a polarized film (32). A path (40) across the playing area is revealable by utilizing the polarized glasses available to a game facilitator. The players see a design on the playing area. A path across the playing area is invisible to players not wearing the polarized glasses. Each player traverses the path with assistance of the game facilitator, and by observing steps taken by the previous players. The object of the game is for players to discover, and traverse the path across the playing area from end to end through a team effort.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an arrangement for leisure purposes consisting of different transparent elements which can be made in polypropylene, polyester or any other suitable material, having any shape, preferably related to mystic, esoteric themes or themes relating to the concept of chance or luck. On all the surface areas of said elements is found a plurality of signs such as lines apparently randomly arranged, and whereof the juxtaposition causes a figurative graphic design as well as an alphanumeric or digital control code to appear when the elements are properly superposed. The elements can be manipulated manually or by using an electronic box.
Abstract:
A pinball machine (20), has been designed with several novel mechanical and electrical features such that it is easily retrofittable or convertible between a first pinball game and a second pinball game. The pinball machine includes a cabinet (22), a playfield (24), a panel (40), an electronics system (70), and a video display (50). The playfield is mounted in the cabinet with the panel mounted to the cabinet and overlaying at least a portion of the playfield. The video display is mounted generally above the cabinet and is disposed to project video images onto the panel for viewing by the player. The electronics system includes a control unit and a plurality of input/output elements which are mounted to the playfield. The control unit, which includes a controller and memory for storing game instructions and video images, is coupled to the plurality of input/output elements. The controller executes the game instructions to cause the video images to be displayed upon the video display. A retrofitting kit for the pinball machine provides a replacement memory that stores second game instructions and second game video images therein for operation in the pinball machine.
Abstract:
A glass object, building, monument, ornament or the like comprises a plurality of glass elements stacked one on top of the other. Each glass element comprises glass material having a predetermined shape and configuration and having an obverse face, a reverse face and one or more polished external edge faces. Many of the glass elements have one or more apertures providing through bores between the obverse and reverse faces of said elements, the internal edge faces of the apertures being honed or otherwise treated so as to scatter light. When the elements are stacked on top of each other such that the through bores overlap in a particular order, the overlapping bores act to form a virtual image within the glass object.
Abstract:
A word making card game having a plurality of cards (10, 12) bearing alphabetical indicia (20, 20', 22, 22', 24, 24') and providing methods of playing according to the rules and arrangements of the distributed cards (10, 12).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a game device comprising a base (1) supporting two parallel spaced rods (2), and pawns (3) with two opposite surfaces (4) delimiting a thickness, the pawns being designed to be arranged on the rod adjacent to one another, each pawn being run through by a bore (8) with a transverse section corresponding a transverse section of the rods, and comprising means (13.1, 13.2) for being mutually and laterally caught on at least one adjacent pawn to maintain in close contact the adjacent sides (5.1, 5.2) of said pawns.
Abstract:
A puzzle (10) includes a display (12) showing a plurality of pieces (14), each of the pieces corresponding substantially to a given region of a composite block (18), and an input device (16) for allowing a user to manipulate the position of at least some of the pieces so as to construct the composite block. Pieces corresponding to adjacent regions of the composite block have complementary boundaries. A visible property of the complementary boundaries varies with time such that, at any instant, the complementary boundaries between pieces corresponding to adjacent regions of the composite block have matching visible properties. Typically, the variable visible property is the shape of the boundary. Alternatively, it may be a graphic element moving along the boundary.
Abstract:
To validate information entered on tickets, cards, and the like paper substrates (1, 100) requiring verification that the information has been entered prior to unsealing the substrate, the information hard copied on a first surface (2, 101) of the substrate is simultaneously transferred by a copying process in coded form to a second surface (5, 101) of the substrate. Said verification is conducted by means of a reading key (14, 130) for the transfer code.
