Abstract:
A multiple target electronic dart gaming machine includes multiple targets mounted on opposite sides of a game board of a target assembly that is housed in a cabinet of the gaming machine. A visual display video monitor provides players and observers with game scores and the like. The game board may be axially rotated between at least first and second positions so as to allow game play on the different targets which can be moved into and out of position to aid in gameplay such as deciding which player goes first. Additionally, the position of the game board may be detected through the use of a detector on or in the board.
Abstract:
Described herein are systems and method for determining a presence and/or type of an object positioned on a platform. The system may include: a tag reader configured to determine a type of an object, the object including a tag readable by the tag reader; a load cell configured to detect the presence of the object on a platform, the object having a known weight; and the platform including at least one face for receiving the object. The platform is communicatively coupled to the load cell and the tag reader. The presence of the object is detected by the load cell housed in the platform when the object is position on the at least one face of the platform. The type of the object is determined by the tag reader housed in the platform when the object is in physical proximity to the platform.
Abstract:
An illumination stacker game is described having audiovisual signals for placing rings of different colors onto a central core. Upon placement, sensors determine which ring has been placed and provide audiovisual feedback as to whether the ring placed is the one which was requested in the game sequence. Different levels of difficulties and different audiovisual modes of communication are involved including multiple languages.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus, system, and method that allow non- musicians to compose and perform a musical composition. Although some existing electronic devices can provide a virtual environment to compose and play musical sound digitally, manipulating such a virtual environment can be difficult and may require specific software expertise, as well as knowledge of music theory. The present disclosure provides a platform that facilitates the creation of a musical composition without such software expertise or knowledge of music theory. The platform models a musical composition as a simultaneous playback of one or more musical contents. The platform allows players to control or modify one or more of the plurality of musical contents to generate or synthesize a musical composition.
Abstract:
A user-replaceable thumbstick top for a user input device is described. The thumbstick top comprises one or more first mating elements that are adapted to mate with one or more second mating elements of a thumbstick base of the user input device. The first and second mating elements are configured to enable the thumbstick top to be removably connected to the thumbstick base. The manner of interconnection between the thumbstick top and the thumbstick base is such that a user can connect and disconnect the two components without having to disassemble the game controller and without having to use any tools.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus, a cloud server, a game service providing system, and a game service providing method thereof are provided. The game service providing system includes a cloud server configured to provide a cloud game service to an electronic apparatus, transmit game playing data, which are generated according to the cloud game service, to one of the electronic apparatus or a game management server, and transmit a game download route, through which the cloud game service is provided, to the electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus is configured to install a game received through the game download route, receive the game playing data from one of the cloud server or the game management server, and apply the game playing data to the installed game.

Abstract:
A cloud gaming system is disclosed. One example includes a game console that is configured to execute video games. The game console provides an interface for a remote client device to interface with the game console and request that games be played. The game console being located in a first data center. The system further includes a storage server connected to the game console over a network connection in the first data center. A save data server is also provided and is located in a second data center. A data selection logic of the game console is provided. The data selection logic is configured to retrieve save data from the save data server and cache the save data to a save data disk of the game console. The data selection logic is configured to automatically retrieve the save data upon detecting a session initiation for a user account associated with the remote client device. The data selection logic is configured to retrieve the save data that has a likelihood of being used during the session. In one example, the likelihood of being used is determined based on historical game play as associated with the user account.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system and method to enable a user to learn a language using physical objects in a highly interactive and free play format. The system uses an interactive surface without a visual electronic display with an array of embedded capacitance sensors and RF antennas operatively linked to a computer system, and a plurality of physical objects, each embedded with an RFID tag and a capacitance tab for activating the capacitance sensor, and each marked with a printed language element such as a letter of the alphabet. Upon a plurality of objects having been placed on the interactive surface, an end-user touches an object to receive feedback selected from a language feedback database that is specifically related to the language element of the object having been touched.
