A table construction which can be quickly and easily dissembled for compact storage having a leg assembly (16) that can be used to support one or more tabletops (14) of varying configuration. The leg assembly can be quickly attached to and removed from the tabletops for easy storage and transport of both the legs and the tabletops. The design of the leg assemblies includes a broad, generally fan-shaped upper surface (36), a single leg assembly can be used to effectively support two adjacent tabletops of either a conventional rectangular configuration or of non-rectangular design as, for example, tabletops having angularly extending sides. Each leg assembly provides rigid stable support of the tabletops and carries with a compact connecting tool (54) for use in conveniently connecting the leg assembly to the tabletop.

The invention relates to a device for connecting a glass body, which below its bowl-shaped portion is provided with a perpendicularly downwards directed stem without a terminating stand, to a separate stand, preferably made of wood. The solution to the problem is characterised in that the fastening element (2) is made of a flexible material having such a shape and resiliency that relatively liberal measurement variations of the glass stem (1A) may be allowed with maintained attachment security and alignment stability, in that the glass stem extends downwards through a bore (3A, 3D) and into a recess (3B) in the stand member (3), where said connecting member is located, the diameter of said bore being so much larger than that of the glass stem that the bore is running entirely free from the glass stem, said stem having no direct contact with the stand member, but being held in a correct position only by the connecting member, and in that said recess is concentric with and has a larger diameter than the bore (3A).

A grommet assembly for a wall panel and method of installation. The grommet assembly (28) includes a grommet structure (29) for insertion into the aperture (15) made through a wall panel (11) and includes pivotal locking arms (37) for locking at the back face of the wall panel. An insert sleeve (30) provides a circular wall (32) that upon insertion into the grommet pivots the pivotal lock arms (37) of the grommet. The insert sleeve (30) is further provided with snap-engagement members (48) that snap-engage to the circular wall of the grommet so that the grommet assembly is fastened together and to the wall panel. A retention ring (26) may be used prior to cutting an aperture in the wall to secure fabric, or other wall coverings, around the aperture to be cut to prevent displacement or tearing, and to protect the outer wall surface. The method includes the field installation of the grommet assembly from one side of a wall panel.

A snap block (6) to retain a power outlet rail (25) on a desk top (1) having a channel (3) extending therealong is disclosed. The snap block has a base (7) shaped to sit on the desk top, a pair of upwardly facing resilient protrusions (23) shaped to snap engage with a pair of rims (28) on the power rail (25) incorporating the power and/or data outlet(s). There is an aperture (12) in the snap block (6) through which a threaded fastener (14) passes. The fastener has a nut (17) threadably engaged therewith which is shaped to be slid along, and engaged with, the channel (3). Rotating the fastener (14) clamps the snap block base against the desk top.

The present invention relates to a concealable apparatus assembly, comprising a support structure (5) supporting an apparatus (M) and rotatably receivable in an opening (1a) of a board or of a plate (1) so that the apparatus (M) is accessible through said opening (1a) from a first major surface of the board or plate (1) at a first angular position adopted by said support structure (5), and concealed for other angular positions adopted thereby, the support structure (5) having or supporting a flat surface (2) which remains flush with said first major surface of the board or plate (1) at a second angular position adopted by said support structure (5). The object of the invention is a cable interface furniture (2) for a conference table (1), which cable interface furniture (2) comprises at least a space enabling connections that is disposed below an openable and closable table hatch (2a) in the table (1). The cable interface furniture (2) comprises a casing (3) extending from the bottom upwards that is intended to be placed under and that stands on the floor resting on support means (3a) that are adjustable in their height, the top part of which casing contains a bed (5) provided with at least lead-in apertures (7), above which is a space (4) enabling connections, with at least the connectors (8a) of the connecting cables (8) being supported in which bed, and which connecting cables are fitted when free to be disposed in the space (3b) below the intermediate bed (5) in the casing (3).

Ein Wand-Arbeitstisch wird von einer Arbeitsplatte 20 und einer separaten, hinter dieser angeordneten Verlängerungsplatte 25 gebildet, die beide auf zwei an ihren hinteren Kanten 11 mit Haken 12 zum Einhängen in Wandschienen 13 versehene Konsolen 10 aufgelegt sind. Die Tiefen der Arbeitsplatte 20 und der Verlängerungsplatte 25 sind relativ zur Tiefe der Konsolen 20 so bemessen, dass hinter der Verlängerungsplatte 25 ein Spalt 26 zum Hindurchführen von Anschlusskabeln oder Versorgungsleitungen für auf der Arbeitsplatte 20 aufgestellte Geräte verbleibt. Die Verlängerungsplatte 25 ist durch Kanten aus einem Blechzuschnitt 30 gebildet und weist beim Kanten ausgebildete, nach unten ragende Nasen auf, die in Nuten 15 an der Oberkante der Konsolen 10 einrasten und die Verlängerungsplatte 25 gegen Verschieben arretieren.
