The present invention relates to a concealable apparatus assembly, comprising a support structure (5) supporting an apparatus (M) and rotatably receivable in an opening (1a) of a board or of a plate (1) so that the apparatus (M) is accessible through said opening (1a) from a first major surface of the board or plate (1) at a first angular position adopted by said support structure (5), and concealed for other angular positions adopted thereby, the support structure (5) having or supporting a flat surface (2) which remains flush with said first major surface of the board or plate (1) at a second angular position adopted by said support structure (5). The support structure (5) is also linearly receivable in said opening (1a) so that it can move linearly according to an approaching/distancing direction with respect to the board or plate (1).

A connector (30 ') is to be attached to a coaxial cable (20 '). The connector (30 ') includes a connector housing (31 ') having a cylindrical shape to be coupled to the outer conductor (22 '). An insulator member (451 ) has a central opening therein and is rotatably received within the connector housing (31 ') to define a rotational joint therewith. A center contact (461 ) has a shaft portion (471 ) securely received within the central opening of the insulator member (451 ) and an open end portion (481 ) extending rearwardly from the shaft portion (471 ) to securely receive the inner conductor (24 ') therein.

A mobile communication device with a base portion and a parallel slider portion connected through a slide assembly. A transceiver is housed in one of the base portion and the slider portion, and an RF antenna is housed in the other of the base portion and the slider portion. An RF-capable flex cable has one end connected to the RF antenna and has its other end connected to the transceiver for communicating RF-level signals between the antenna and transceiver.

An electrical socket arrangement comprises a housing (1) including a face plate (2) and a socket assembly (6), the socket assembly including a casing (12) with a plurality of faces (5) and a at least one electrical socket (7a), wherein at least a first socket is located on a first face of the socket assembly and at least one further device (7b) is located on a second face of the socket assembly, the socket assembly being rotatably mounted in the housing such that the socket assembly can be rotated to sequentially to present successive faces, together with any socket located thereon, to an aperture in the face plate, through which aperture an appropriate plug can be connected The electrical socket arrangement further includes an actuator mechanism for permitting the socket assembly (6) to rotate, which actuator mechanism is operable through an aperture (4) in the face plate (2). The invention enables an electrical socket and one further device to be accessed through a single aperture in a face plate. The at least one further device may comprise a second socket, having a different configuration to the first socket and wherein an appropriate plug can be connected through said first aperture to a corresponding socket type. This permits a plurality of socket types to be accessed through a single face plate.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrische Einspeisung (10), insbesondere eine CEE-Einspeisung, für die externe elektrische Versorgung des Stromnetzes eines mobilen Verbrauchers, insbesondere eines Wohnwagens oder eines Wohnmobils oder eines Bootes. Diese Einspeisung (10) umfasst a) einen Flansch (11) zur Anbringung der Einspeisung (10) an und/oder in einer Wand des mobilen Verbrauchers und b) mindestens einen Einspeisungsstecker (12) zur elektrischen Kontaktierung einer Kupplung, insbesondere einer CEE-Kupplung. Die Erfindung sieht vor, dass der Einspeisungsstecker (12) drehbar im Flansch (11) angeordnet ist.

A method and device for replacing a fluorescent tube lamp with an LED lamp. The LED lamp includes an elongated electrical assembly having ends terminating in first and second electrical connectors, and a plurality of LEDs mounted to the elongated electrical assembly. Mounting adaptors connect with the first and second electrical connectors, and have protruding pins to connect with conventional lamp socket connectors. The mounting adaptors have rotating connectors for connecting with the first and second electrical connectors of the LED lamp, so that the LED lamp orientation can be rotated after the LED lamp is fully mounted to the lamp socket connectors.

The present invention is directed to a linear connector assembly comprising a plug connector (22) and a receptacle connector (24). The plug connector (22) includes an elongated member (26), and an electrical contact (72) disposed about a portion of the elongated member. The receptacle connector (24) includes a wall defining a cavity (44) dimensioned to sealingly receive the elongated member, and an electrical contact having a surface disposed in the wall for electrical connection with the plug contact . The electrical contacts of the plug connector (22) and the receptacle connector (24) have spherical surface portions whereby a spherical interlace between the electrical contacts is formed upon make-up and reduces voltage drops between the contacts.
