Abstract:
The apparatus for moving and grouping flat products (10) having two main faces and a perimetral edge comprises: a conveyor device (16) from which catch elements (18) suitable for pushing the products (10) along a longitudinal conveying direction protrude; a plurality of magazines (22) which contain stacks of products (10) and are arranged in succession along the conveying direction above the conveyor device (16); respective guide members arranged below the bottom end of each magazine (22) and suitable for guiding products (10) exiting from the magazine (22) towards the conveyor device (16); and a respective pair of rotating elements associated with the bottom end of each magazine (22). The elements of each pair are respectively arranged on the sides of the magazine (22) and above the guide members so that the products (10) exiting from the bottom of the respective magazine (22) are subjected, on different portions of their edge (12), to the combined and contemporaneous action of the rotating elements and of a catch element (18).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a tray loading packaging machine that carries out a method for filling a multi-row packaging tray (Tray T) with fragmented products (P) at a high performance level, having the following steps: dividing (100) a single-row flow (S1) of fragmented products (P) into a plurality of tracks (SM; SM1, SM2, SM3) disposed substantially parallel to each other for further transporting the products (P); synchronizing (200) the individual flows of the products (P) on the plurality of tracks (SM; SM1, SM2, SM3) to each other so that a product (P) can be transferred from each track (SM1, SM2, SM3) substantially simultaneously as a product (P) from each of the other tracks (SM1, SM2, SM3); and transferring the products (P) to the packaging tray (T), wherein a product is transferred from each track (SM1, SM2, SM3) to a row of the packaging tray (T).
Abstract:
An apparatus for grouping discrete laminar articles (30) into batches of predetermined count includes a feed conveyor (12), a left-hand screw (18) and a right-hand screw (16) combination, a means (24) for synchronizing and automating starting and stopping rotation of the screws (16,18) and a platform assembly (26). The platform assembly (26) is connected to the feed conveyor (12) and includes a hatch (28) and a pusher mechanism (14). The feed conveyor (12) supports articles disposed thereon. The screws (16,18) are disposed along edges of and at either side of the feed conveyor and are adapted to rotate to facilitate counting and pushing of the articles. The screws (16,18) stop rotating and thereby stop further pushing of the articles, when a predetermined count of articles has been pushed. The pusher mechanism (14) receives the predetermined count of articles pushed by screws and moves them to the hatch from where they are dropped into a delivery line (34).
Abstract:
An inline product feeder (100) for a packaging line (106) and related methods are disclosed. In one example, an inline product feeder (100) includes a product input line (102) configured to receive a contiguous supply of products and configured to guide the products in continuous motion along a path of travel. The inline product feeder (100) also includes a packaging line (106) configured to receive separated groups of the products from the product input line (102). The inline feeder (100) further includes a feeder unit (104) configured to separate groups of products from the contiguous supply of products in the product input line (102) and move the group of products into the packaging line (106), each of the separated groups of products including a predetermined number of products from the product input line (102).
Abstract:
A technological process to pile a preset number of objects and devices to actuate it characterized by the fact that the flat objects, continuously fed by a horizontal conveyer belt (N) are inserted on the scoops (P) of the ascending arm (G) of an intermitting vertical transporter (V) , and at the beginning of the descending arm (R) a preset number of flat objects finds itself by a catching device (C) that grabs them, shifts them horizontally and moves them to a vertical descending equipment (D) provided with a vertical ejecting stem (S) that pushes the pile of bags inside the vertical forming tube (F) of a packager of bags simultaneously realized starting from films of flexible material (E) .
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for stacking and loading disc-like objects into receptacles are provided. The apparatus includes a lane combining conveyor (L) which receives multiple lanes of product and combines one or more of the outer lanes into the remaining lanes. A stack former (F) is provided for forming individual stacks of patties which are side supported onto rails. The rails can be pivoted down to divert patties for clearing jams. After the product is formed on the stack formers (F), a stack transfer mechanism (T) transfers the stacks of products formed on the stack forming rails to the matrix former (M). Matrix former (M) receives individual rows of multiple stacks from the stack transfer mechanism (T). A stripper mechanism is used to ensure that the stacks are not scrambled during this transfer. Once the matrix former (M) is filled with product, a case rollover mechanism (R) is rotated to the matrix former (M). Both the case (R) and the matrix former (M) are rotated back together to bring the case to the upright position and transfer the stacks into the case. The matrix former (M) is then removed from the case with a vertical motion and rolled back into position to receive stacks from the stack transfer mechanism (T).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A collating conveyor (4, 6) receives products (2) sequentially from a delivery point and collates them into groups (8). A pusher (9) transfers groups (8) of products from the collating conveyor (4, 6) to a receiving trough (10), where they are turned through a predetermined angle B. The collating conveyor (4, 6) is inclined to the horizontal and is provided with lugs (5, 7), each of which supports a stack (8) of products under the effect of gravity. A pick-and-place head (11) picks up a group (8) of products from the trough (10) by gripping and clamping the products (2) together.
