A valve plug comprising a cylindrical body having an annular flange with a top surface, a bottom surface, and a circumference is disclosed. The valve plug further comprises an annular recess disposed in the bottom surface of the flange, and a plurality of holes disposed in the top surface of the flange. Each hole extends into the recess to create a plurality of channels extending between the bottom and top surfaces of the flange. Each channel of the plurality of channels includes a stepped portion. A polyurethane sealing member is disposed within each channel and includes: a top portion forming a continuous bond on the top surface and along the circumference of the flange; a central portion forming a horizontal bond on each stepped portion; and a bottom portion forming a sealing surface adapted to sealingly engage a seating surface of the seat.

Ein Druckregler für flüssige Medien umfasst einen Durchgangsströmungsweg (78), der sich zwischen zwei Anschlüssen (40a, 40b) für eine mediumführende Leitung erstreckt. In dem Durchgangsströmungsweg (78) ist ein Ventilsitz (52) angeordnet, der durch ein Schließelement (54) freigegeben oder geschlossen werden kann, welches zwischen einer Schließstellung und einer Freigabestellung beweglich gelagert ist. Mit einer Verschleißsensoreinrichtung (108) ist ein Verschleiß des Schließelements (54) und/oder des Ventilsitzes (52) im laufenden Betrieb überwachbar.

A pressure regulating valve for controlling an upstream fluid pressure in relation to a reference pressure by regulating the fluid quantity let through the valve, comprising a housing (1) having an upstream inlet (2) and a downstream outlet (3) for the fluid, a pressure-sensitive element (5) for sensing the pressure difference between the upstream pressure and the reference pressure, and a spring-loaded regulating piston (7) which, in cooperation with a seat (8), is arranged to regulate a flow passage (9) between the inlet (2) and the outlet (3), the piston (7) being operatively connected to the pressure-sensitive element (5), to change its position relative to the seat (8) in accordance with the position of the pressure-sensitive element (5). The regulating piston (7) is slidably arranged on the outside of a guide sleeve (10) having openings (11) for the flow of fluid from the flow passage (9) to the outlet (3). Further, the valve comprises a chamber (15) defined between an end surface (13) of the guide sleeve (10) and an inner end surface (14) of the piston (7), and a pilot body (16) which is mechanically coupled to the pressure-sensitive element (5) and is arranged to open ducts (20-23) for supply of fluid from the inlet (2) to the chamber (15) or delivery of fluid from the chamber (15) to the outlet (3) dependent on the position of the pilot body (16) relative to the regulating piston (7), so that the piston changes its position dependent on the chamber volume and thereby in accurate correspondence with the position of the pressure-sensitive element (5).

A fuel pressure regulator valve (10) comprises a housing constructed from plural metal stampings and containing a diaphragm assembly (32) which divides the housing into a control chamber (34) and a fuel chamber (36). The housing is shaped to contain integral grooves (68, 74) for O-ring seals (70, 76) so that the O-rings stay on the valve when it is removed from its mounting socket (16) in a fuel rail (12). Two of the stampings partially define the fuel chamber and are joined by means of a crimp formed in one. The other of the two has a hardness greater than that of the one to facilitate its press-fit engagement with the valve seat tube (46). The crimp is below the upper O-ring seal so that the crimp provides an entirely satisfactory joint. Each O-ring (70, 76) is located within its groove (68, 74) with the aid of a spacer (72, 78) also disposed in the groove.

To eliminate the effect of variables such as pressure and temperature on the operation of a pilot operated, pressure regulating valve, a poppet (30) is disposed between two ports (20), (34) in a valve body (14) and is biased towards a seat (26) by a pair of bellows (50), (58) which in turn are selectively compressed by an elongated rod (68). The bellows (50), (58) are disposed in opposing relation and have their interiors vented to eliminate the effect of ambient pressure while the body (14) and the rod (68) are made of materials having differing coefficients of thermal expansion to provide for temperature compensation.

A valve for regulating fluid flow includes a housing base defining a lower cavity and comprising a pinch structure within the lower cavity, a gas inlet providing external access to the lower cavity, a base fluid inlet, and a base fluid outlet. A housing cover defines an upper cavity and comprises a cover fluid inlet and a cover fluid outlet. The cover fluid inlet is in fluidic communication with the base fluid outlet between the upper cavity and the lower cavity, and the cover fluid outlet provides external access from the upper cavity. A diaphragm is disposed between the housing base and the housing cover. A pinch plate is disposed in the lower cavity and comprises a pinch point disposed opposite the pinch structure. A pinch tube is in fluidic communication between the base fluid inlet and the base fluid outlet in the lower cavity.

The invention relates to a pressure control valve device for supplying corrosive media, in particular a corrosive fuel to an internal combustion engine, comprising a valve housing with a media inlet and a media outlet, a valve seat, which is fixedly provided in the valve housing (12) and has a valve opening that creates a connection between the media inlet and the media outlet, and a valve body, which is held such that it can be moved between a first end position and a second end position, wherein in the first end position it lies on the valve seat and closes the valve seat opening and in the second end position it at least partially exposes the valve seat opening, the valve body comprising a tubular housing. Also provided is a sealing element (100), which has a sealing lip (102), which lies against the housing (86) of the valve body (84) and interacts therewith in a sealing manner. At least the sealing lip (102) consists of a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) material (Fig. 1).
