In the relay described, the magnet system is fixed in the upper zone of a lid-like housing, and the contact system (8) is inserted into the housing, through the open underside of the housing, far enough for the contact (91, 92) to close when the magnet system is in the excited state. Following further insertion by a given excess distance, the edge (82a) of the contact system (8) is connected to the housing (1) without a stop. This enables manufacturing variations to be compensated for during assembly, obviating the need for subsequent adjustment of the contact system.

Various high voltage systems may benefit from a suitable relay system. For example, a relay box may be provided with a shock and vibration resistant arrangement including a sealed coil box within the sealed relay box. For example, an apparatus can include a coil box containing coils, inside pole pieces, and permanent magnets, wherein the coils, inside pole pieces, and permanent magnets can be configured to actuate an armature assembly external to the coil box. The apparatus can also include outside pole pieces configured to move a relay armature of the armature assembly responsive to energizing of the coils. Moving the relay armature can include overcoming a latching of at least one of the permanent magnets.

L'invention est relative à un dispositif modulaire de commutation électrique (1, 2) comportant un bloc de coupure (100) associé à un bloc d'actionnement (200). Le bloc de coupure (100) comporte, dans une première empreinte (120) d'un socle (1 10), au moins des blocs unitaires de coupure (80) ayant des moyens électriques de coupure (30) commandés par le bloc d'actionnement (200). Le bloc d'actionnement (200) comporte un actionneur électromagnétique pour commander les moyens électrique de coupure (30). Le socle (1 10) du bloc de coupure (100) comporte au moins une seconde empreinte (130) présentant un volume interne délimité par une paroi, ladite seconde empreinte (130) étant positionnée entre une face externe dudit socle (1 10) et la première empreinte (120).

An electromagnetic relay includes a base, an electromagnet block including a permanent magnet, a core, a bobbin, a winding about the core, and a pair of pole pieces extending perpendicularly from the core. The relay includes at least one magnet retention element formed on at least one of the pole pieces to retain the magnet in operative juxtaposition.
