    Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for a power control procedure in a 5G NR and beyond wireless network. The instructions cause the UE to perform operations including decoding RRC signaling received from a base station. The RRC signaling includes one or more open-loop power control parameters. A reference signal received power (RSRP) is determined. The RSRP is associated with a reference signal received from the base station using a receive beam. A path loss associated with the receive beam is determined based on the RSRP. A transmission (Tx) power is determined using the one or more open-loop power control parameters and the path loss. The Tx power is adjusted based on a power threshold shared between at least two antenna panels of a plurality of antenna panels. Uplink data is encoded for transmission to the base station according to the adjusted Tx power.

    Abstract: A wireless station (11) determines a path loss of a wireless signal path between the wireless station (11) and a first access point (10). The first access point (10) cooperates with a second access point (10) by sharing a transmit opportunity based on coordinated spatial reuse of at least one resource of the shared transmit opportunity. Further, the wireless station (11) receives, from the second access point (10), an indication of a level of allowed interference on the at least one resource of the shared transmit opportunity. Based on the determined path loss and the indication of the level of allowed interference, the wireless station (11) controls a transmit power of at least one wireless random access transmission performed on the at least one resource of the shared transmit opportunity from the wireless station (11) to the second access point (10).

    Abstract: In a wireless network, a user equipment (UE) may be unable to determine a default path loss reference signal associated with an uplink transmission if the uplink transmission is transmitted using a beam associated with a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state and/or the uplink transmission and/or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling the uplink transmission is associated with a repetition configuration. In such cases, depending on a type associated with the uplink transmission, the UE may determine the default path loss reference signal based on the repetition configuration associated with the PDCCH and/or a TCI state for an uplink control channel or uplink reference signal. Accordingly, the UE may perform an uplink power control operation for the uplink transmission using the default path loss reference signal determined based on the repetition configuration associated with the PDCCH and/or the TCI state for the uplink control channel or uplink reference signal.

    Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards providing 5G zero touch traffic management of cells in a network. A target cell associated with a network objective is identified. One or more neighbor cells are also identified. Transmit power and tilt capabilities of the target cell are determined. An interference between the target cell and the one or more neighbor cells is also determined. An electrical antenna tilt adjustment or a transmit power adjustment is determined for the target cell to apply based on the transmit power capabilities, the tilt capabilities, the interference, and the network objective. The determined electrical antenna tilt adjustment or the determined transmit power adjustment are then provided to the target cell. If the network objective is met after the target cell applies the electrical antenna tilt adjustment or the determined transmit power adjustment, then the changes are confirmed, otherwise they are reversed.
