Abstract: Interferometric path length measurements using frequency-domain interferometry form the basis of several measurement techniques, including optical frequency domain reflectometry (OFDR), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar and lidar. Abstract: Systems and methods for aggregating groups of input financial data such that the aggregated data reflects trends more smoothly than the input financial data are provided. More specifically, various methods and systems of the present invention provide for aggregating one or more selected data points from a set of input data points into an aggregated data point, wherein each data point includes at least a high value and a low value. The aggregated data may be presented in various ways to visually depict trends in the data. Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating depth of market (DOM) volume flow charts. According to various embodiments, the DOM volume of a financial instrument is monitored. The DOM volume can include volume elements corresponding to bid order volume and/or ask order volume of orders for the financial instrument that are open on an electronic exchange. A DOM volume flow may then be computed, according to some embodiments, by evaluating a function of one or more elements of the DOM volume and/or a change in the DOM volume elements. Then, indicators of the computed DOM volume flow may be displayed on a chart.

Abstract: Various embodiments generally relate to robotics and more specifically to tank seal inspections. In some embodiments, the robotic inspection device comprising a power supply, a body, a drive system, a camera, a navigational system, and/or one or more sensors. The drive system may include one or more surface engaging drivers to propel the robotic inspection device along a surface of a tank. The camera can be housed within the body to capture images and/or video of a seal. The navigational system can compute a route (or receive commands that route) and send commands to the drive system to navigate the robotic inspection device along the surface of the tank allowing the camera to capture the images or video of the seal. Some embodiments may use an artificial intelligence or machine learning engine to review the images or video of the seal and identify potential problems.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to closed loop deep brain stimulation based on inferred sleep stage from physiological data using machine learning classifiers. Some embodiments, for example, may use subthalamic nucleus (STN) deep brain stimulation (DBS) to treat advanced Parkinsons Disease motor symptoms and improve sleep by identifying sleep stages commensurate with clinician-scored polysomnography (PSG). The DBS may be adapted to include novel artificial neural network (ANN) that triggers targeted stimulation in response to inferred sleep state from STN local field potentials (LFPs) recorded from implanted DBS electrodes. A feedforward neural network can be trained to prospectively identify sleep stage with PSG-level accuracy. In some embodiments, the machine learning model stored within the DBS may also adapt stimulation during specific sleep stages to treat targeted sleep deficits.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology provide for the ultra-high density heterogenous integration, enabled by nano-precise pick-and-place assembly. For example, some embodiments provide for the integration of modular assembly techniques with the use of prefabricated blocks (PFBs). These PFBs can be created on one or more sources wafers. Then using pick-and-place technologies, the PFBs can be selectively arranged on a destination wafer thereby allowing Nanoscale- aligned 3D Stacked Integrated Circuit (N3-SI) and the Microscale Modular Assembled ASIC (M2A2) to be efficiently created. Some embodiments include systems and techniques for the construction of construct semiconductor devices which are arbitrarily larger than the standard photolithography field size of 26 x 33mm, using pick-and-place assembly.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to robotics and prosthetics. More specifically, some embodiments of the present technology relate to multi-modal fingertip sensors with proximity, contact, and for localization capabilities. Various embodiments of the present technology provide for a novel multi-modal tactile sensor which comprises an infrared proximity sensor and a barometric pressure sensor embedded in an elastomer layer. Signals from both of these sensors can be fused to measure proximity (0-10mm), contact (0N), force (0-50N) and localize impact at five spatial locations and three angles of incidence. Gaussian processes in a regression setting can be used to obtain calibrated force measurements with an R-squared value of 0.99. Supervised machine learning approaches can be used to localize the position and direction of probing with classification accuracies of 96% and 89% respectively.

Abstract: Systems and methods for human-robot communication are proved. More particularly, some embodiments use augmented reality to facilitate communication of robot intention and teleoperation in human-robot cooperative environments. Various embodiments of the present technology provide a middleware that integrates augmented reality (AR) with novel teleoperation interfaces to increase operation effectiveness, support the user in conducting concurrent work, and decrease stress. Various embodiments provide predictive graphical interfaces such that a teleoperator controls a virtual robot surrogate, rather than directly operating the robot itself, providing the user with foresight regarding where the physical robot will end up and how it will get there. In accordance with various embodiments a user may select between two AR interfaces using such a surrogate: one focused on real-time control and one inspired by waypoint delegation.

In some examples, gaming systems can directly interact with the distributed multi-ledger architecture for secure and transparent transactions which can also be accessed by auditors, tax authorities, partners, and/or other entities. Some examples may use private and/or public blockchains as part of the distributed multi-ledger gaming architecture. For instance, multiple distributed network nodes may be utilized to manage transaction records.
