La présente invention se situe dans le domaine des nanomatériaux. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne de nouveaux nano-objets, les hybridosomes, constitués d'un cœur aqueux et d'une coque hybride organique- inorganique. Celle-ci comprend à la fois des nanoparticules inorganiques et des chaînes de polymère. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de ces hybridosomes, ses produits intermédiaires de synthèse et leurs utilisations.

The present invention relates to methods and pharmaceutical compositions for preventing or reducing metastatic dissemination (i.e. reducing motility of cancer cells). In particular, the present invention relates to a method for preventing or reducing metastatic dissemination (i.e. reducing motility of cancer cells) in a subject suffering from a cancer comprising the steps consisting of i) determining the expression level of at least one biomarker selected from the group consisting of soluble CD95L and EMT promoting factors in a sample obtained from the subject, ii) comparing the expression level determined at step i) with a predetermined reference value and iii) administering the subject with a therapeutically effective amount of C16-ceramide or derivatives such as C16-sphingomyelin and C16- glycosphingolipids when the expression level determined at step i) is higher than the predetermined reference value.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of treatment and method of therapy selection for patient suffering from cancer. The inventors provide the first demonstration of a dual role of IRE1 downstream signaling in cancer. Indeed, the inventors demonstrate that the modulation of IRE1 signaling characteristics in GBM cells controls tumor aggressiveness. Furthermore, the inventors provide evidence supporting a novel concept where IRE1-downstream signals play combined/integrated roles in cancer development, where XBP1s provides pro-tumoral signals, whereas RIDD of mRNA and miR17 rather elicits anti-tumoral features. Their data, obtained using established cell lines, patient tumor samples and primary GBM lines, depict a complex scenario where IRE1 signaling orchestrates distinct aspects of GBM biology. In particular, the invention relates to a method for predicting whether a subject will be eligible to a treatment with an IRE1 RNase inhibitor.

This invention relates to a method for simulating a deep-brain stimulation in a computer-assisted platform, comprising steps of: - providing to a neurosurgeon, through a man-machine interface, visual information of a pre-operative situation, including a representation of a brain; - monitoring inputs of said neurosurgeon on the man-machine interface, until a trajectory is determined between an entry point and a target for the placement of an electrode; - comparing said trajectory to a set of previously-established trajectories for the pre-operative situation, so as to determine an overall measurement representative of a quality of the trajectory compared to the previously-established trajectories.
