    摘要: A process for making a dental restoration includes forming an image which represents a natural oral cavity characteristic. The image may be formed on a computer by an artist or by capturing a photograph of an oral cavity. The computer-based image may be modified with a computer-aided software program. Thereafter, the image is printed as a decal and attached to the dental restoration base. The decal and the dental restoration base are conditioned by a high intensity light or by being fired together in an oven in order to create a finished dental restoration having the desired oral cavity color and characteristics.

    摘要: A system for production of a dental crown (23, 24) includes identification equipment (2), modeling equipment (9), ordering equipment (6), and an automated production arrangement (16). The latter, as a function of one or more first information items, is arranged to effect production, by means of pressing or pressure-casting, of an integrated dental crown which is made up of two layers. The first layer comprises or consists of porcelain material, and the second layer consists of aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, etc. The second layer forms a cap, via which the dental crown can be applied to a tooth stump (28) of a patient (1). The invention also relates to a dental replacement component consisting of the dental crown. It relates also to an arrangement used for a preliminary stage in production of a dental crown, which arrangement is characterized by a cylinder-shaped unit (puck) which is made of porcelain material and can be pressed against the cap under vacuum and at high pressure in order to form the first layer. The invention permits accelerated and efficient production of individual dental crowns.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for making artificial tooth bridges consisting of a ceramic densily sintered high strength individual core (B) veneered with porcelain (A) using powder metallurgical methods. According to the method the individual densely sintered bridge parts are joined together to a bridge core with glass, which in molten condition wets the ceramic core material. The glass therefore finds its way into the gap between the bridge parts and reacts with the ceramics so that it during cooling forms a strong joint between the individual densely sintered ceramic bridge parts.
