    摘要: A container and apparatus for preparing dental prosthetics. The container comprises a body having an interior and a top edge, a penetrable lid sealably secured to the top edge and containing a quantity of glazing liquid mixture liquid less than a volume of the body and a quantity of gas having a density greater than air. The apparatus comprises the container, a lid penetrator operable to form at least one penetration through the lid at at least one dipping location, an arm adapted to hold at least one dental prosthetic and pass each dental prosthetic through the at least one penetration into and thereafter out of the glazing liquid mixture, and wherein the arm is adapted to move the at least one dental prosthetic in a drying path after dipping in the glazing liquid mixture so as to form a consistent glazing layer thereover.

    摘要: A method for designing and manufacturing implant based restorations is disclosed. The method involves the use of Scannable Temporary Anatomic References to provide very reliable, fixed points of reference to enable a technician to relate and superimpose the dental implant position to a pre-planned restoration with a very high degree of accuracy throughout the entire workflow. The method can be carried out by placing Scannable Temporary Anatomic References in a jaw, on teeth, and/or in implants, collecting images by scanning a mouth, relating those images to images of a appearance of desired dental implant based restoration, placing an implant in the jaw, scanning the scannable temporary anatomic references to create a new set of images, relating the images, and producing a restoration based on the images.

    摘要: The technology relates to modelling a prepared tooth for fitting a prosthetic thereon. A die, representative of a prepared tooth, may be modelled as a positive virtual three- dimensional die model (601). An impression of a set of teeth surrounding and including the prepared tooth may be modelled as a negative virtual three-dimensional impression model (501). The negative virtual three-dimensional impression (501) may be inverted to create a positive virtual three-dimensional impression model (503). The positive virtual three-dimensional impression model (503) and the positive virtual three-dimensional die model (601) may then be merged to create a virtual three-dimensional dentition model.
