Abstract: A data processing system defines a unit test for a dataflow graph comprising a plurality of executable components. The system receives an indication of a portion of a dataflow graph for testing. The system receives a parameter set indicating expected output data to be generated by execution of a component of the graph. The system receives input data for the component. The input data are indicated by the parameter set and configured to test a functionality of the component. The system defines a unit test of the component based on the parameter set. The unit test provides the input data to inputs of the dataflow graph, causes processing of the input data by the component of the dataflow graph to generate output data, and generates results data indicating a correspondence between the output data and the expected output data indicated by the parameter.

Abstract: According to aspects of the disclosure a method is provided, comprising: generating a live execution trace log corresponding to a live execution of a computer program, the live execution being performed by using both hardware emulation and hardware acceleration; generating a first trace entry corresponding to a replay execution of the computer program, the replay execution being performed by using hardware emulation without hardware acceleration, the replay execution being performed based on a set of events that are recorded during the live execution of the computer program; detecting whether the first trace entry is valid based on the live execution trace log; and in response to detecting that the first trace entry is not valid, transitioning into a safe state.

Abstract: Technology is described for Testing as a Service (TaaS) for a video game. In one embodiment, a method includes an operation for receiving a game application for testing for one or more bugs. The method further provides for executing, by an automated game testing module, a plurality of automated sessions of the game session while implementing testing inputs for the plurality of automated sessions, the testing inputs include control inputs, game states, system parameters and network parameters. The method further includes operations for detecting an occurrence of a bug during the said executing the plurality of sessions for generating a snapshot file including a portion of the control inputs, the game state data, and a video component associated with the occurrence of the bug.
