Abstract: A method, system and product relating to quantum computing. The method comprises using a quantum computer to execute a quantum program a plurality of times, wherein during each execution of the quantum program: reaching an intermediate state, wherein the intermediate state is obtained prior to reaching the terminating cycle of the quantum program; and performing a measurement of a qubit at the intermediate state, whereby obtaining a plurality of measurements of the qubit at the intermediate state in a plurality of executions of the quantum program. The method further comprises determining a value of the qubit at the intermediate state based on the plurality of measurements obtained of the qubit at the intermediate state.

Abstract: A method and system for remote testing of a plurality of devices is disclosed. The method may include receiving a request from a client system to perform testing on a set of remote devices. The local system and the client system are connected via a first network connection and the plurality of remote devices are connected to the local system via a second network connection. The method may further include receiving an input from the client system with reference to a test-suite to perform a testing action on the set of remote devices, generating a test command corresponding to the input, and transmitting the test command to each of the set of remote devices. The method may further include receiving feedback from each of the set of remote devices and transmitting the feedback to the client system.

The system receives an indication of a portion of a dataflow graph for testing. The system receives a parameter set indicating expected output data to be generated by execution of a component of the graph. The system receives input data for the component. The input data are indicated by the parameter set and configured to test a functionality of the component. The system defines a unit test of the component based on the parameter set. The unit test provides the input data to inputs of the dataflow graph, causes processing of the input data by the component of the dataflow graph to generate output data, and generates results data indicating a correspondence between the output data and the expected output data indicated by the parameter.

Abstract: Performance of a substitute upstream processing component is tested, in order to determine whether that performance is sufficient to support a downstream processing component, within an autonomous driving system, in place of an existing upstream processing component. The existing upstream processing component and the substitute upstream processing component are mutually interchangeable in so far as they provide the same form of outputs interpretable by the downstream processing component, such that either upstream processing component may be used without modification to the downstream processing component. A direct or indirect metric-based comparison is formulated in terms of the resulting performance of the downstream processing component.

Abstract: A computer system for testing a user interface (UI) includes a test execution module and an analysis module. The analysis module is configured to (i) analyze a state of the UI, (ii) in response to determining that the state satisfies criteria for a goal associated with the UI, output a success indicator, and (iii) in response to determining that the state does not satisfy the criteria, output a set of actions. The test execution module is configured to, in response to the output being the set of actions: execute an action from the set of actions; update a test distance, and supplement test data. The test execution module is further configured to (i) in response to the output being the success indicator, store the test distance and the test data in a collection of completed tests and (ii) determine a shortest path to the goal in the UI.

Abstract: A computer implemented method of generating a scenario to be run in a simulation environment for testing the behaviour of an autonomous vehicle is described. An image is rendered on a display. A user can mark multiple locations to create at least one path for an agent vehicle in the rendered image. A path is generated which passes through the locations and rendered on the display. A user can define at least one behavioural parameter for controlling behaviour of the agent vehicle associated with the at least one path when the scenario is run in a simulation environment. The scenario is recorded for future use.

Abstract: A computer implemented method of path verification in a computer system is described. A user provides input to mark a displayed image of a scenario. A path is generated representing the trajectory of a vehicle. Control points along the path are recorded, each control point associated with a vehicle position and target speed. A vehicle position end target speed of two control points is used to calculate at least one path verification parameter which defines how a vehicle travelling along the path would behave. The at least one verification parameter is compared with a corresponding threshold value; and an alert is generated to the user at the user interface when the at least one path verification parameter exceeds the corresponding threshold value.
