The invention relates to an oven, especially to a domestic oven, which has a control panel comprising a user interface (1) for inputting data (D) into the control panel, wherein the user interface (1) comprises: at least one display element (2) for displaying data, wherein data (D) can be displayed on the display element (2) at a location (Z) on the display element (2) at a predetermined first axial position (x) and a predetermined second axial position (y), wherein the direction of the first (x) and of the second (y) axial positions are perpendicular to another, selecting means (3, 4) for selecting the location (Z) on the display element (2) by selecting or pretending a definite first (x) and second (y) position for a cursor (5), wherein at least one of the selecting means (3, 4) are established as a slider element extending in a longitudinal direction (L) and having a surface (6) sensitive for touching with a finger (7) of the user, wherein a control unit is arranged to position the cursor (5) in a position or direction (x, y) on the display element (2) in dependence on the location or movement of the finger (7) on the slider element (3, 4) in the longitudinal direction (L). By this an improved interaction between the user and the oven becomes possible. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for selecting and inputting an information into the control panel of the oven.

The present invention relates to a control panel for a household appliance comprising an outer part (24) and at least one inner part (10; 44; 46). The outer part (24) includes a substantially closed front side and an open rear side. The inner part (10; 44; 46) is inserted in or insertable into the outer part (24) through the open rear side. The inner part (10; 44; 46) is moveable for a distance within the outer part (24) along a predetermined direction extending parallel to the front side of the outer part (24). The inner part (10; 44; 46) includes a number of holding elements (12) arranged on at least one side of the inner part (10; 44; 46). The holding elements (12) are engaged or engageable with corresponding elements (38) of the outer part (24) by a motion of the inner part (10; 44; 46) along the predetermined direction, so that the inner part (10; 44; 46) is pressed against the front side of the outer part (24).

The present invention relates to a vented oven door for a domestic cooking. The oven door (10) comprises at least three glass panels (12, 14, 16). The inner space of the oven door (10) is subdivided into at least two door channels (18, 20) by the at least three glass panels (12, 14, 16). At least one upper opening of at least one outer door channel (18) is connected or connectable to a suction (24) of a cooling channel with air moving means in a closed state of the oven door (10). At least one upper opening of at least one inner door channel (20) is connected or connectable to the ambient on the one hand and an exhaust (26) of the cooling channel on the other hand in the closed state of the oven door (10), so that air from the inner door channel (20) is entrained by the air from the exhaust (26). Further, the present invention relates to a corresponding cooking oven.

The present invention relates to a cooking oven with at least one convection heating device (20). The convection heating device (20) is arranged in a rear wall (16) of the oven cavity (10). The convection heating device (20) includes at least two fans (26) and at least one ring element (28). The fans (22) are arranged side-by-side at the rear wall (16). A steam generator is provided for generating steam. At least two steam injectors (30) are provided, wherein each steam injector (30) corresponds with at least one fan (26). The steam injector (30) is directed along the radial axis of the corresponding fan (26), so that the steam is injected along the radial axis of said fan (26).

The present invention relates to a microwave sealing device of an opening for a rotating shaft (26) or axle. The sealing device (10; 30; 50) is provided for enclosing a section of the shaft (26) or axle. The sealing device (10; 30; 50) includes a front panel (12; 32; 52) and a basis part (14; 34; 54). The front panel (12; 32; 52) is formed as a plane disk and comprises a central hole (16; 36; 56) in its centre and a plurality of cuts (20; 40; 58, 60). The basis part (14; 34; 54) is formed as a hollow part with a peripheral wall and two opposing face sides. At least one of the two opposing face sides of the basis part (14; 34; 54) is open. The basis part (14; 34; 54) comprises a plurality of cuts (22; 42; 62) in the peripheral wall. The front panel (12; 32; 52) is attached at the open face side or at one of the two open face sides, respectively, of the basis part (14; 34; 54).

The present invention relates to an oven door (10) for a microwave oven or an appliance with microwave heating function. The oven door (10) comprises a door frame (22, 24, 26) enclosing said oven door (10) and a number of glass panels (34, 36, 38, 40) inside and/or in front of said door frame (22, 24, 26). The door frame includes a support element (22), a cover element (24) and a wave choke (26). The wave choke (26) is arranged between the support element (22) and the cover element (24). The cover element (24) is fixed or fixable at the support element (22) and forms at least an outer portion of an inner side of the oven door (10). The cover element (24) covers an outer portion of an inner side of an inner glass panel (36). The inner glass panel (36) is clamped between the cover element (24) with its inner side and the support element (22) and/or the wave choke (26) with its outer side. A sealing element (44) is arranged between the cover element (24) and the inner glass panel (36). The sealing element (44) is made of a high temperature resistant textile material. The cover element (24) is made of a high temperature resistant non-metallic material. Further, the present invention relates to a corresponding chassis for the microwave oven or the appliance with microwave heating function.

The present invention relates to a method for controlling a cooking process on an induction cooking hob (10). Said method comprises the steps of setting at least one temperature value or at least one parameter value corresponding with the temperature by a user; starting the cooking process by a control unit of the induction cooking hob (10), setting a maximum power (Pmax) for a corresponding cooking zone by the control unit, calculating at least one average slope value (S1, S2, ASP) of a temperature-time-diagram (20, 22, 24) of the cooking process by the control unit, comparing the average slope value (S1, S2, ASP) with a corresponding threshold value (THR1, THR2, THR3) by the control unit, and indicating that the temperature or parameter has obtained the set temperature value or parameter value, respectively, by the control unit, if the average slope value (S1, S2, ASP) is equal with or smaller than the corresponding threshold value (THR1, THR2, THR3). Further, the present invention relates to a control unit for controlling a cooking process on an induction cooking hob. In particular, the method and control unit are provided for controlling a boiling process and a frying process on an induction cooking hob.

The refrigeration system (4) comprises a first conduit path (26) and a second conduit path (28), the first conduit path (26) comprising the first refrigerant channel (22), the first expansion arrangement (14), and the first evaporator (18), and the second conduit path (28) comprising the second expansion arrangement (16) and the second refrigerant channel (24). A flow control device (30) for alternately directing refrigerant through the first conduit path (26) and the second conduit path (28) is arranged in the refrigeration system (4). Further a method of controlling a refrigerator is provided.
