Abstract:
Abstract:
A sheet product dispenser (1), comprising a housing (2) for accommodating a source of a sheet product (11) and a dispenser opening (4) for dispensing the sheet product, wherein the dispenser opening (4) is provided in a rotatable dispensing member (5), rotation of the rotatable dispensing member (5) is restricted to one rotating axis (51), the dispenser opening (4) is offset from the rotating axis (51) of the rotatable member (5), and wherein rotation of the rotatable dispensing member (5) results from a lateral force applied by a pulled sheet product strip onto the dispenser opening (4) such that the dispenser opening (4) moves as far as possible into a pulling direction so as to minimize an angle between the pulling direction and a dispensing direction (42) of the dispenser opening (4).
Abstract:
Coreless tissue rolls can be produced without having to use an adhesive to form a hollow center. Instead, moisture can be used to promote light hydrogen bonding between the layers of the tissue web that line the hollow center. The hydrogen bonding provides sufficient structure to maintain the shape of the hollow center without rendering the tissue web surrounding the passageway unusable. Passageways can also be formed in accordance with the present disclosure that are substantially circular so that the rolls will easily spin on a spindle. In an alternative embodiment, moisture is not used in constructing the wound tissue roll.
Abstract:
A center-pull dispenser for dispensing paper towels from a continuous roll, wherein each individual towel is separated from an adjoining towel by a plurality of perforations. The dispenser comprises a housing having a housing back and a detachable front cover hingedly connected thereto at the lower periphery of said housing back and front cover for opening and closing the housing, a paper support tray removably connected to a lower portion of the housing back, the tray having a centrally located dispensing nozzle and at least one locking element for releasably locking at least one first hinge element on the lower periphery of the front cover to at least one second hinge element on the lower periphery of the housing back, an opening in the lower periphery of said housing through which the towels are dispensed, and a wall-mounting member for removably mounting the housing back to a wall. In one embodiment, the paper support tray comprises locking arms for releasably locking first hinge elements on the lower periphery of said front cover against second hinge elements on the lower periphery of said housing back. In another embodiment, the dispenser comprises a locking member for releasably locking the front cover to the housing back and the housing back to the wall-mounting member.
Abstract:
Spindles attachments and replacement spindles for use with a coreless tissue roll or a flexible core rolled tissue product are generally disclosed. In one embodiment, a spindle attachment having an elongated tube is generally disclosed. Each end portion of the spindle attachment is tapered at an angle of less than 45°. The elongated tube defines a circular opening that extends through the center of the elongated tube. In another embodiment, an armed spindle for use in place of a traditional spindle is generally disclosed. The armed spindle includes a pair of opposing pegs connected to at least 4 arms. Each arm has a pair of end portions that extend away from the center axis of the armed spindle to a middle portion. Also, a kit is disclosed that includes both a spindle attachment or an armed spindle and at least one rolled tissue product.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adapter (1) for a coreless or solid roll (R) of hygiene paper, said adapter comprising a first end (2) adapted to be attached in a dispenser and a second end (3) adapted to be attached to a side of a coreless or solid paper roll (R). According to the invention the second end (3) of the adapter (1) includes a planar surface provided with an adhesive (4). The invention also relates to a coreless or solid roll (R) of hygiene paper provided with such adapters and a method for attaching adapters to a solid or coreless roll.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dispenser (1) for coreless hygiene paper rolls with a housing comprising a storage space (2) for one or more hygiene paper rolls (A-C), a dispensing space (3) terminated with a bottom (4) situated beneath the storage space, in which dispensing space a hygiene paper roll so arranged as to be capable of rotating on a spindle (5) is accessible to a user, locking devices (9), which in the active position prevent hygiene paper rolls that are present in the storage space from dropping down into the dispensing space under the effect of gravity, and operating devices (12,15) to inactivate the locking devices, so that a hygiene paper roll that is present in the storage space drops down into the dispensing space. In accordance with the invention, the storage space (2) is closed off on the top side by means of a removable lid (7), and the spindle (5) is secured to the bottom (4) inside the dispensing space and extends perpendicularly from the upper side of the bottom.
Abstract:
An adapter assembly for mounting a paper roll product having a central hollow cylindrical core in a coreless roll dispenser includes side plates having a shape and size so as to frictionally engage with the hollow core of the paper roll product. The outer face of the side plates is substantially flush with the respective sides of the paper roll product. A female recess is defined in the outer face of the side plates at a location corresponding to the rotational axis of the plates and paper roll product. The female recess has a shape and size so as to be engaged by male protrusions of the coreless roll dispenser. At least one longitudinally extending connecting member may be disposed between the inner faces of the side plates within the hollow core of the paper roll product.
Abstract:
A method and device for manufacturing coreless toilet paper with a desired softness, wherein, when toilet paper is taken up on a winding shaft surrounded by two winding rollers and one rider roller, water or paste is attached to the toilet paper at the start of winding and then the rider roller is separated to take up softly the toilet paper on the winding shaft.
Abstract:
Adapters (10) may be provided for solid or coreless rolls (13, 14) of material dispensed in a roll dispenser (52), which may have slots (62) defined on the side walls (56) thereof. The adapters may have a base body (22) with a first side (24) disposable adjacent to the roll and a second side (26) disposable adjacent to the side walls (56) of the dispenser. A protrusion (28) may extend substantially transverse from the first side (24) and may have a shape and length so as to extend at least partially into a recess (18) or divot formed in the vertical sides of the rolls (13, 14). An engaging member (30) may extend substantially transverse from the second side (26) of the body member and may have a shape and a length so as to be insertable into and slidable along slots (62) disposed in the dispenser. A pair of the adapters (10) may engage and hold the roll therebetween within the dispenser (52) and may allow for the roll to move along the slots (62) defined in the dispenser to a dispensing position.
