Abstract:
A balcony glazing arrangement (1) comprising at least one horizontally slidable window (2), which comprises a sliding window frame (10) and a window sash (30), which is openable mounted on the window frame (10) by means of a vertically oriented hinge arrangement (40). The hinge arrangement (40) comprises a continuous hinge pin (41), which rotatably runs through a vertical side rail (33) of the window sash (30) from a window frame head (11) to a window frame sill (12). The hinge pin (41) comprises ends (41', 41''), which are non-rotably connected to the frame head (11) and the frame sill (12), wherein a first one (41') of the ends of the hinge pin (41) is arranged to render application of a fastener (42) possible, which, when tightened, contracts the window frame head (11) and the window frame sill (12) onto said vertical side rail (33).
Abstract:
A portable pet door is provided. The portable pet door includes a plurality of panels (101) connected in such a manner that allows the pet door to be folded for portability when not in use. The portable pet door may be installed in a sliding door jamb and configured to be held in place via friction from the sliding door (110) and an adjacent door jamb. The portable pet door has a removable flap (102) located at the bottom of the portable pet door. The portable pet door may have a connector (401) located on a top portion of a top panel of the plurality of panels that allows the pet door to be removably secured to a door jamb.
Abstract:
This invention relates to system that facilitates cleaning thanks to inward opening window sash for sliding window systems intended for balconies and facades.
Abstract:
A track radius structure (70) adapted to be mounted on a wall to form part of the support structure for a sectional door (13). Track radius structure (70) comprises a body (101) having a bottom end section (113) adapted for connection to a first track rail and an outer end section (111) adapted for connection to a second track rail, and a curved transition track section (45) extending between the bottom end section and the outer end section to cooperate with the first and second track rails to provide a continuous track for a roller.
Abstract:
Two-function tilting and turning roof window is provided on both sides with symmetrical self-locking systems, each having a set of elements automatically blocking the tilting function when the position of the sash is slightly changed versus the window frame due to turning the sash, and a set of elements automatically blocking the turning function when the position of the sash is slightly changed versus the window frame due to tilting the sash. Both blocking systems (11 ) and (21 ), and (12) and (18) are connected together by connecting means, which warrants their alternative action. When the window is closed, the locking elements (12) and (18) of one blocking set are always in mutual contact, but are not blocked in that position, and when starting the usage function the blocking of which they are serving, they play the role of a mechanism forcing the locking of the second usage function of the window by the locking set (11 ) and (21 ). Each self-locking system has also a retaining mechanism, which, when applying the function blocked by the set of elements (11 ) and (21 ), immobilizes the element (12) of the locking set consisting of the elements (12) and (18) staying in mutual contact when the window is closed.
Abstract:
Featured is a wireless scleral search coil that includes one or more passive, resonant coils and in a particular embodiment two orthogonal, passive, resonant coils, where each coil resonates at a different frequency. Each resonant coil includes a coil-capacitor circuit, each circuit being configured to resonant at a different frequency. Such a wireless scleral search coil is disposed within a biocompatible material that is shaped to conform and rest upon the eye of a subject. Also featured are system including such a wireless scleral search coil, one or more transmitter coils, an assembly of one or more receiver coils and a calculating sub-system for processing signal data to obtain eye measurement information.
Abstract:
A panel (10), for forming a wall of panels slidable between and along an upper guide rail (12) and a lower guide rail (11), comprising a pane (13) forming the web of the panel (10), wherein the pane (13) of the panel (10) is provided with stiffening profiles solely along the vertical edges (16, 17), said profiles constituting vertical profiles (14, 15).
Abstract:
A dual function tilt/swing roof window with tilt pivot (5) at top member of window frame (1), and a swing pivot (6) in the midsection of sash (3), positioned close to the glazed surface and not changing its position at some ranges of the opening angles of the sash, comprising frame (1), with the fitting (2) on its side members, and the sash (3) mounted in it via intermediate arms (4A) and (4B), equipped with a locking system, which, alternatively, locks one mode while allowing the other mode, also comprising pre-selector (33) of the window's operating mode, and the locking system has two catch systems mounted on both sides of the window, which, alternatively lock the sash (3) with intermediate arm (4A) and (4B), or lock intermediate arms (4A) and (4B) with the window frame (1), operated by the control mechanism co-operating with pre-selector (33), and control mechanism (49), which allows switching modes of the catch systems of the locking system only when the window operating mode is switched simultaneously on both sides of the sash (3), and when it is the same tilt, or swing mode.
Abstract:
A pet door offering ingress or egress through a structural member. A lock mechanism in the pet door allows the pet owner to restrict ingress and/or egress as desired. The pet door features a dual control system that simplifies the setting of the lock. Each control corresponds to movement of the flap in one direction. The dual control system is also designed to be easier to access than a conventional pet door lock mechanism and to be less susceptible to unintentional adjustment resulting from incidental contact with the controls.
Abstract:
