La presente invención se refiere a un material derivado del cemento con capacidad de auto-reparación, es decir, de auto-sellado de las microgrietas o micro-fisuras que puedan aparecer en dicho material cementicio. Para ello, se sintetizan unas microcápsulas que contienen una resina tipo epoxi en su interior, que se incorporan a la matriz cementicia, la cual está hibridada con STOGA (amina), la cual sale al exterior cuando la microgrieta rompe las microcápsulas, reacciona con el material STOGA (amina) y sella la microgrieta. Además, STOGA proporciona mejores propiedades mecánicas al cemento que tiene microcápsulas con resina epoxi, que es menos resistente que el cemento solo.
