Die Erfindung betrifft ein Thermoschutzelement (1), das frontseitig zum Schutz einer von Druck beaufschlagten Membran (11) eines Drucksensors (10) angeordnet ist. Erfindungsgemäß weist das Thermoschutzelement (1) im Bereich der Sensormembran (11) parallel verlaufende oder als Kreisbogensegmente (8) ausgebildete Lamellen (2) auf, die 40% bis 60% der Membranfläche abdecken, wobei sich die Querschnittshöhe (h) der Lamellen (2) zu deren Querschnittsbreite (b) wie 8:1 bis 12:1 verhält.

A pressure transmitter assembly (400) for measuring a pressure of a process fluid includes an isolation diaphragm assembly (402) configured to couple to a process fluid. A pressure sensor (408) is coupled to the isolation diaphragm assembly (402) and is configured to sense a pressure. An isolation diaphragm coupling flange (420) is provided to carry the isolation diaphragm assembly (402) and includes a cutaway portion (430, 432, 434) to provide thermal isolation.

A pressure sensor capsule with a beam shaped sensor body, made of direct bonded layers (96, 98) of single crystal sapphire, surrounding a hollow central channel (102). A first beam end (104) receives pressure and a second beam end (106) has electrical contact pads and there is a mounting surface (108) between the ends (104, 106). The central channel (102) has a narrower width (112) passing through the mounting surface (108). An isolation plate is brazed to the mounting surface (108). Pressure sensing film is in the first end (104) with leads extending through the channel (102) to the electrical contact pads. The beam having a notch (105) at the second end (106), forming an isolated lead surface (152) on the central channel (102) where the electrical contact pads are accessible.
