Abstract:
An article of footwear including a reflective outsole is disclosed. The article of footwear has an outsole including a reflective device that covers one or several portions of the outsole. The reflective device is composed of a thin and flexible material that does interfere with the natural flexibility of the outsole. The reflective device may extend over a substantial majority of a lower surface of the outsole, including a portion of the outer periphery of the outsole.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a signage system (10) comprising: a plurality oftextile products (12) each comprising a flexible display device (16). For controlling the displays (16), the systemfurther comprises a central unit (14, 24) adapted to emit at least one controlsignal, each of which being a sound signal or a light signal. To this end, each textile product further comprises means (20, 26) for detecting the control signal(s) emitted by the centralunit (14, 24), and means (18) linked to the detection means (20, 26) and display (16) for controlling the display(16) in accordance with the detected control signal(s). The present invention also relates to a method, central units and uses of such for controlling a plurality of flexible display devices each comprised in a textile product.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a car-alerting heating pillow comprising a pillow that contains elastic filling material within a textile case and a pocket, a vest in which light-reflective material is applied to some of the outer surface while the remainder of the outer surface is essentially provided with a flashy and striking color, preferably bright orange, and a planar blanket that is made of elastic fabric. A large number of small air zones are delimited from one another by means of adjacent fibers. The vest and the blanket are folded and/or rolled up while the blanket and the vest are inserted into the pocket.
Abstract:
The invention is a safety device (10) having a container (20) which can be worn or carried by a person and which contains a length of tape (30) which is photo luminescent or reflective and which can be deployed from the container (20) when required.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of safety devices. In one form, the present invention relates to improvements in visual signaling devices. In another form, the invention relates to a safety light intended to make the location of a person or object, to which the safety light of the present invention is proximate, more easily discernible. In still another form, the invention relates to a safety light for cyclists, or people on the move and the like.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a reflective safety element, comprising a reflective belt, a housing and a reel which is received in the housing and which is adapted to carry the belt in wound form, wherein the length of the belt is dimensioned for wearing on the body, and wherein the housing and the distal end of the belt are each provided with a mutually connectable coupling element. It hereby becomes possible to accommodate the safety element in a housing with an exterior such that it can be readily placed in a glove compartment, a map compartment or the like within easy reach of a driver of a passenger car or a truck.
Abstract:
There is provided a light-reflective collar comprising a collar part where at least part of said collar part has a light-reflective top layer. The collar part has an outer side and an inner opening and one or more safety lines running substantially from the outer side to the inner opening of the collar part, the strength of the collar part being weaker along said safety lines than for the surrounding areas of the collar part. The collar part may have at least two safety lines, and the collar part may be tearable along said at least two safety lines. The collar part may have two substantially oppositely arranged safety lines, and the collar may be divided in at least a first and a second collar part when the collar part across each said two safety lines is exposed to a pulling force being larger than or equal to a maximum pulling force. There is further provided a light-reflective collar comprising a collar part and one or more flap parts being bonded together, where the collar part has an inner opening with the area of the inner opening being larger than or equal to the total area of said one or more flap parts, and where each of said collar part and said one or more flap parts are made of a multilayer arrangement comprising a flexible base layer and an at least partly translucent, light-reflective and flexible top layer being bonded to the base layer.

Abstract:
Abstract:
Pen-shaped modules (10) of the type widely used by health care personnel and other workers in sensitive environments, are provided with two separate pocket clips (16, 18) positioned in opposed spaced-apart relationship. Markings (15, 17) associated with each clip clearly identify one clip as "ON" and the other clip as "OFF". At least one of the clips performs electrical switching functions so that when the "ON" clip is fastened to the fabric (19) of a wearer's garment, the electronic module is activated; that is, the module is turned "on". In the alternative, when the "OFF" clip is attached to the wearer's garment, the electronic components of the module are deactivated; that is, the module is turned "off".
