The invention relates to a light source comprising one or more individual connectable straps (2) configured to assemble a wearable article (1), one or more exchangeable light chains (7) comprising a sequence of light sources (8) on a longitudinal strip (9) and arranged on the straps, and a power source (13). Each strap (2) comprises opening means (11) to connect to another strap and an elongated and closable pocket (3) extending along a length of the strap and havinga length (l), adaptedto receive the light chains. The pocket comprises an opening (5) for passage of the light chain in and out of the pocket and a locking member (6) to lock the opening of the pocket. The opening and the locking member extend along at least 50% of the length of the pocket. The pocket is transparent for light on a front side (F) of the strap.

A method for monitoring impairment indicators, the method includes measuring, with a movement sensor attached to the person, a first signal related to movement of a person during a first time window and electronically storing the at least one numerical descriptor derived from the first signal as reference data for the person. The method further includes measuring, with the movement sensor attached to the person, a second signal related to movement of the person during a second time window and comparing at least one numerical descriptor derived from the second signal to the reference data as a factor to identify an impairment indicator. The present disclosure also includes a device for monitoring impairment indicators.

A lighting unit (4) has at least one electroluminescent strip (16, 17, 18) adapted to provide a desired safety function and being attachable to an outer surface of a support structure (24). Such a lighting unit may be part of an indicator lamp assembly for a motor vehicle that further includes a transmitter (25) adapted for coupling to at least one lamp circuit of the motor vehicle for transmitting a wireless actuation signal upon activation of said circuit, and a receiver (21) adapted for coupling to the lighting unit for receiving the wireless actuation signal and being responsive thereto for operating at least one electroluminescent strip. The signal indicators can be attached to clothing or to a helmet of a motorcyclist.

Das Leuchtsystem betrieben mit Brennstoffzellen. Da immer wieder Situationen im Strassenverkehr, bei Katastrophen, gefährlichen Arbeitsgebieten oder extremer Abgeschiedenheit auftreten, wo es sehr wichtig ist gesehen zu werden, wurde eine Einrichtung entwickelt, welche dies ohne Aufwand für den Benutzer ermöglicht. Die Form und Farbe dieses Leuchtsystems sind je nach Verwendungszweck mehr oder weniger frei veränderbar und lassen auch der modischen Kreativität einen gewissen Spielraum. Dieses Leuchtsystem besteht aus Brennstoffzellen (4) und Leuchtkörpern (2), welche als electroluminiszierende Folie oder LED's ausgebildet sind. Als Steuerelement dient ein Schnappschalter oder Taster (1) welche dem Steuerelement (5) die Impulse zur Inbetriebnahme des Leutelements (2) geben. Je nach Verwendung wird der Einschaltvorgang durch eine Photozelle (3) automatisiert. Zum erreichen von speziellen Effekten kann eine Steuerelektronik (5) sowie optische Lichtleiter (6) angeschlossen werden.

A method and system for monitoring impairment indicators. The method includes, during a first time window, measuring a first movement signal related to movement of the person with a movement sensor associated with the person, and measuring a first biological signal of the person with a biological sensor attached to the person. The method further includes electronically storing at least one numerical descriptor derived from the first movement signal and at least one numerical descriptor derived from the first biological signal as reference data for the person. The method includes during a second time window, measuring a second signal related to movement of the person with the movement sensor, and measuring a second biological signal of the person with the biological sensor. The method further includes comparing at least one numerical descriptor derived from the second signal and at least one numerical descriptor derived from the second biological signal to the reference data to identify an impairment indicator.
