An electronic shelf label system, comprising a number of display devices (6A, 6B) for displaying content on their screen or screens (5A - 5D). Each device comprises a memory stage to store content data, and a control stage to control the display of the content on its screen(s). Each screen is a video screen and realizes a shelf rail or covers a front of a shelf rail or a part of it to which it is attachable. The content is a video and the memory stage stores the entire video data of the video. The control stage is designed to define a display window for the video and to display only the video content within the display window on the corresponding screen.

A system includes a wearer role identification device (408), a garment (402) with a dynamically modifiable display, and a hardware controller (404) for the dynamically modifiable display. The wearer role identification device identifies a dynamically changeable role of the wearer of the garment. The hardware controller (404) adjusts the dynamically modifiable display based on real-time inputs received from the wearer role identification device (408).

Methods, systems, and media for presenting requested content on public display devices are provided. In some implementations a method for presenting content on a display device is provided, the method comprising: receiving a request from a mobile device to present content, including image data, on a display device; receiving a graphical representation associated with a user; receiving location information associated with the mobile device; receiving display device information associated with display devices, including location information associated with that display device; selecting, without user input, a first display device on which to present the content based on the location information associated with the mobile device and the location information associated with each of the plurality of display devices; and in response to selecting the first display device, causing both the graphical representation associated with the user of the mobile device and the content to be presented by the first display device.

The present disclosure provides methods and computer systems for displaying or projecting media on a remote visual curvilinear display. In a computer system, a computer server may be in network communication with an electronic device of a user. One or more parameters associated with the user may be determined. The media may be selected for display or projection by the remote visual curvilinear display device of the user. The media may be selected based on the one or more parameters associated with the user. The media may be directed from the computer server to the electronic device for display or projection on the remote visual curvilinear display. An item of value of the user may be received on the computer server in exchange for the media.

A system for display third media content includes a display device and a display controller. The display controller is a computer having stored thereon a main presentation application and a priority presentation application which can operate concurrently on a CPU of the computer. The main presentation application configured to cause the display device to present a main display content as a main presentation, and the priority presentation application configured to cause the display device to present a priority display content as a priority presentation, and to exclude the main presentation of the main presentation application from the display device for an entire duration of the priority presentation, and further configured to cause a resumption of the main presentation on the display device upon completion of the priority presentation. The main and priority display content each comprise any of still or motion video information.
