본 발명은 회전하는 액상물질을 이용한 정화장치에 관한 것으로서, 더 상세하게는 오염공기가 액상물질을 통과하며 이물질이 걸러지되, 상기 오염공기가 액상물질을 회전시키면서 통과하게 구성된 것임을 특징으로 하여, 오염공기에 포함된 이물질이 액상물질을 통과하며 액상물질에 흡착되어 제거됨으로써 확실하게 이물질을 걸러지게 되고, 오염공기가 액상물질을 통과할 때 액상물질과 함께 회전하면서 통과되기 때문에 빠르고 효과적으로 이물질을 걸러지게 되어 오염공기를 효과적으로 정화하여 줄 수 있게 되는 회전하는 액상물질을 이용한 정화장치에 관한 것이다.

The present design relates to a compressed air drying device for removing the water fraction and oil fraction and foreign matter contained in compressed air flowing through a compressed air pipeline and relates to a compressed air drying device having outstanding drying efficiency and cleaning efficiency because clean and dry compressed air can be obtained by using centrifugal force and gravity to separate out the water fraction and oil fraction and foreign matter contained in the compressed air, yet the foreign matter which has been separated out is blocked by means of a guide pipe and so comes to be no longer mixed in with the dried compressed air.

The invention provides a process for separating at least part of a gaseous product from a feed stream which comprises contaminants, the process comprising: 1) providing the feed stream; 2) cooling the feed stream to a temperature at which a slurry stream is formed which comprises solid contaminant, liquid phase contaminant and the gaseous product; 3) introducing the slurry stream as obtained in step 2) via a plurality of tangentially directed inlet means, with a small inlet angle, into an upper part of a separation device, thereby creating a swirl of the slurry stream which allows at least part of the gaseous product to flow upwardly and solid contaminant and liquid phase contaminant to flow downwardly; 4) removing at least part of the gaseous product from the upper part of the device; and 5) removing a stream comprising liquid phase contaminant from a lower part of the device. The invention further relates to a cryogenic separation device for carrying out the process according to the present invention.

Disclosed herein is a method for reducing the amount of coarser particles from a stream of flue gas prior to treatment by a spray dryer absorption process (SDA). The method comprises the steps of directing a stream of flue gas containing entrained particles of varying sizes through a curve, thereby subjecting the particles to a centrifugal effect, collecting the particles predominately of the coarser size at a particles collecting means provided in the outer circumference of the curve, dispersing the flue gas reduced in particles of coarse particle sizes into the chamber of a spray dryer absorption apparatus, wherein the particles content of the original flue gas stream is above 20 g/Nm 3 . Also an apparatus for performing the method and a gas disperser is disclosed. The method substantially reduces the cost of the entire plant for treating flue gas having a high content of entrained coarse particles by eliminating the need for a particle pre-collector upstream the SDA.
