Abstract:
A headwear with signal generating capability includes: a headwear body; a signal output unit mounted on the headwear body for generating at least one of audio and video signals; a control circuit including a controller coupled electrically to the signal output unit for controlling activation and deactivation of the signal output unit; and a switch mounted on the headwear body and coupled electrically to the control circuit for controlling operating states of the control circuit.
Abstract:
A helmet massager comprises a helmet (1) and a massage device (2). The massage device (2) comprises a massage body and a controller for controlling the massage body. The massage body is mounted on the helmet (1). The helmet (1) comprises a circular longitudinal housing and an arc latitudinal housing connected across and located on the longitudinal housing. One of the longitudinal housing and the latitudinal housing can be formed by splicing together a first and a second housing (21, 22; 31, 32) spaced apart from one another and movable relative to one another, namely the longitudinal housing can be formed by splicing together a first and a second longitudinal housing (21, 22) and the latitudinal housing can be formed by splicing together a first and a second latitudinal housing (31, 32). The spliced ends (211, 221) of the first and the second longitudinal housing (21, 22) are connected through an adjusting assembly (4) and the spliced ends (311, 321) of the first and the second latitudinal housing (31, 32) are connected through an adjusting assembly (5). Each of the spliced ends (211, 221; 311, 321) is provided with an adjusting slot (212, 222; 313, 323). At least two coupling positions are provided at the slot wall of each of the adjusting slot (212, 222; 313, 323). The adjusting assembly (4; 5) comprises a fixed housing (41; 51) and an adjusting member (42; 52). The spliced ends (211, 221; 311, 321) of the first and the second housing (21, 22; 31, 32) are inserted into open slots (413; 515) of the fixed housing (41; 51) from both sides. The adjusting member (42; 52) can be movably mounted on the fixed housing (41; 51) and extends into the adjusting slot (212, 222; 313, 323), and can be snapped and coupled in different coupling positions of the adjusting slot (212, 222; 313, 323).
Abstract:
According to the invention, this clothing cover (1) comprises at least one band (3) fixed to its interior, each band (3) being intended to be fixed to the helmet (2), on the one hand in a zone situated on the front side of the helmet (2) and on the other hand in a zone situated on the rear side of the helmet (2).
Abstract:
A system and a method for protecting the head of a user in case of an abnormal movement, such as a fall or a collision. The system comprises an apparel (1) , an airbag (2) , an inflator (3) , and a trigger. The airbag includes a first part (7) for surrounding the neck and back head portion of the user after inflation, and a second part (8) for forming a hood surrounding the skull of the user after inflation. The first part (7) and second part (8) are folded and arranged in the apparel (1) before inflation. The apparel is arranged around the neck of the user, like for example a collar or a scarf .
Abstract:
A sweatband designed to be worn on a user for usage in a variety of sporting activities. The sweatband comprises inserts for the purpose of protecting the user, which may be permanently placed or removable. In the preferred mode, the inserts are polymeric and function to absorb and dissipate impact forces with which the user comes in contact. Importantly, the inserts may be strategically placed within the sweatband, such as in the areas most vulnerable to concussion or injury upon impact. In an alternate embodiment, the polymeric inserts may be removed from the sweatband. In total, the invention provides a novel, lightweight means to protect the athlete, while effectively functioning to absorb perspiration.
Abstract:
Abstract:
There is provided padding for a helmet interior. The padding has an area of a predetermined function and a thickness defined by the function. It comprises a cover carrying portion associated with the area. The cover carrying portion is adapted to receive a cover designed to cover at least a portion of the exterior of the helmet. The cover forms, when received within the cover carrying portion, at least part of the functional area so as to allow the area to fulfill the function.
Abstract:
A ratchet mechanism for the headband of a protective helmet or other headgear allows for adjustment of the size and fit of the headband. The headband has overlapping rear end portions which are enclosed in a housing, which is comprised of an outer substantially arc-shaped housing section joined to a inner substantially arc-shaped housing section. Also contained with the housing sections is an adjustment mechanism adapted to cause lateral movement of the overlapping rear end portions of said headband with respect to one another. The outer and inner housing sections are substantially segmented into multiple discrete portions such that the respective housing sections are flexible along defined boundaries between the discrete portions to provide for a better and more comfortable fit.
