摘要: A patient interface includes a plenum chamber pressurizable to a therapeutic pressure, a seal-forming structure configured to form a seal against the patient's face, and a positioning and stabilising structure configured to provide a force for maintaining the seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position. The patient interface also includes an RPT device connected directly to the plenum chamber. The PRT device includes an electric blower for providing airflow at the therapeutic pressure. The positioning and stabilising structure supports at least part of the weight of the RPT device. The patient interface may also include an electrical power source electrically connected to the RPT device.

The headband region has an outer engagement layer that at least partly overlaps a lower portion of the base layer with the outer engagement layer being fused to an underlying portion of the base layer. The headband region has areas of fused material and areas of unfused material, the non-fused areas at least in part defining connection zones for releasably securing connectors to the headgear.

摘要: The present invention relates to a medical nasal device for administrating a continuous stabilized flow oxygen supply to an infant or a toddler comprising (a) a horizontal hollow tube has two nasal prongs; (b) a cuff/balloon; (c) a small filing tube; d) Safety valve attached to the end of the filling tube and acts as a one way valve and the air syringe is connected to it, wherein the said device is fixed easily without injuries or any damage wherein the prongs do not touch neither the septum nor the lateral aspects. It provides an adequate sealing without any leak.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a patient interface for delivering respiratory support to a patient. The patient interface comprises a gases delivery interface configured to deliver an apparatus gas flow to a patient. The gases delivery interface comprises a delivery outlet to deliver the apparatus gas flow to the patient. The gases delivery interface also comprises a gases delivery side member extending from a first side of the delivery outlet and which comprises an apparatus gases flow path in fluid communication with the delivery outlet. The gases delivery side member comprises a collapsible portion movable upon application of a collapsing force from a normally open configuration to a collapsed configuration in which the apparatus gases flow path is reduced or closed and in order to reduce or stop the apparatus gas flow through the apparatus gases flow path. The patient interface further comprises a gas sampling interface which comprises a sampling inlet configured to receive a patient gas flow at the patient and a sampling outlet configured for delivery of the patient gas flow away from the patient. The gas sampling interface also comprises a sampling conduit in fluid communication with the sampling inlet and the sampling outlet.

摘要: A face mask that can be used for the ventilation of patients such as in bag-valve-mask resuscitator systems is provided. The face mask can be used to form a tight seal with the patient's mouth and nose, while also creating an open airway. The face mask includes a jaw (chin)-lifting member that can be used to position the patient's head in a tilted position. The invention also encompasses bag-valve mask resuscitator systems and methods for using bag-valve mask resuscitators in the ventilation of patients. In one embodiment, the bag-valve mask resuscitator is placed so that the bag is positioned over the midline of the face of the patient.

A cover includes at least one complementary connecting feature configured to engage the at least connecting feature of the vent body. The at least one complementary connection feature is radially inside of and spaced apart from the outer diameter of the cover. The at least one connecting feature is configured to engage the at least one complementary connecting feature so that neither are visible in use.

摘要: An inline muffler for use with a positive airway pressure (PAP) apparatus. The muffler may provide an expansion chamber with baffles that capture acoustic energy using, for instance, a disruptive gas flow path to effectively reduce downstream noise associated with a flow of pressurized gas produced by the PAP apparatus. In some embodiments, the muffler is constructed of two mostly identical halves with baffle segments being integrally formed therewith.

The inlet connector comprises an inlet port for connection to a gas delivery conduit, and comprises a downwardly directed central axis.
