The present invention is directed to methods and systems for reducing lipopolysaccharides on medical devices and fluids that are intended to be in contact with the human body or to be inside of the human body. In on embodiment, the present invention relates to methods for treating solutions containing one or more endotoxins at detectable levels by adding a suspension of a stearate, preferably calcium stearate, to said solution to reduce detectable amounts of said endotoxins: and optionally removing the stearate. The present invention is also directed to methods for treating medical devices and methods of treatment by contacting the devices or tissue surfaces of a mammal with a stearate suspension to reduce detectable amounts of endotoxins on said mammal.

The method according to the invention relates to the treatment of greenhouses and plants cultivated therein, for their sanitization and improving the growth conditions of the same plants. The method comprises the following steps: mixing ozone with water in predetermined proportions, so as to obtain ozonated water; introducing said ozonated water into a pipe situated inside a greenhouse, in an elevated position with respect to the plants cultivated therein, and supplying said ozonated water to at least one atomizer nozzle, in order to obtain a fine atomization of said ozonated water inside said greenhouse; spraying said ozonated water on the exposed surfaces of said greenhouse, included the growth medium of the plants and of the plants themselves. The invention comprises also an apparatus (1000) for the treatment of closed environments and the organic masses contained therein, and in particular of greenhouses and plants cultivated therein, for the sanitization thereof and improvement of the growth conditions of said plants. The apparatus (1000) comprises in particular a generator of ozone (500) for generating ozone and mix it with water in predetermined quantities, and a pump (300) for pumping water toward the distribution means (700). The latter, in their turn, include pipes and nozzles aimed at obtaining a fine atomization of the ozonated water directly in the greenhouse and on the plants cultivated therein.

Described is a system for the disinfection of rooms and surfaces comprising at least one plate (50) which can be associated with a room (R) to be treated and equipped with a memory (51 ) containing a plurality of identification data of the room (R) and at least one diffuser device (1 ) comprising a tank (2) containing a liquid solution (L) and nebulising means (3) associated with the tank (2) and designed to draw out the liquid solution (L) from the tank spraying it in the space. The diffuser device (1 ) comprises a control unit (8) associated with the nebulising means (3) and which can be associated with the plate (50), designed for receiving from the plate (50) a signal representing identification data of the room (R) and designed for controlling the nebulising means (3) as a function of the signal in such a way as to sanitise the room in an automatic manner.

Gel de décontamination biologique, constitué par une solution colloïdale comprenant 5% à 30% en masse, de préférence 5% à 25% en masse, de préférence encore 8% à 20% en masse par rapport à la masse du gel, d'au moins un agent viscosant inorganique; un agent actif de décontamination biologique constitué par la combinaison d'une base minérale choisie parmi les hydroxydes de métaux alcalins, les hydroxydes de métaux alcalinoterreux, et leurs mélanges, et d'un agent oxydant stable en milieu basique choisi parmi les permanganates, les persulfates, l'ozone, les hypochlorites, et leurs mélanges; la base minérale étant présente à raison de 0,05 à 10 mol/L de gel, de préférence à raison de 0,1 à 5 mol/L de gel, et l'agent oxydant stable en milieu basique étant présent à raison de 0,05 à 5 mol/L de gel, de préférence de 0,1 à 2 mol/L de gel; éventuellement 0,1% à 2% en masse par rapport à la masse du gel, d'au moins un agent tensio-actif; et le reste de solvant; et le gel ne contenant pas de polymère super-absorbant. The present invention relates to a method for disinfecting a volume or a volume of space by means of a biocide containing hydrogen peroxide or peroxone and a disinfection device with a biocide containing hydrogen peroxide or peroxone. The present invention also relates to a device for disinfecting a volume with a biocide based on hydrogen peroxide or peroxone. The present invention can be applied, particularly in the medical field, in the field of scientific research and more generally in all spaces requiring disinfection / decontamination.

Verfahren zum Steuern von Pasteurisiervorrichtungen für mit einem Füllgut gefüllte Behälter, wobei die Behälter in einer Transportrichtung durch wenigstens einen ersten Behandlungsabschnitt zum Vorwärmen der Behälter und des Füllgutes, durch wenigstens einen zweiten Behandlungsabschnitt zum Pasteurisieren der Behälter und des Füllgutes durch Beaufschlagung der Behälter mit wenigstens einer erhitzten Behandlungsflüssigkeit, beispielsweise mit erhitztem Wasser, und durch wenigstens einen dritten Behandlungsabschnitt zum Rückkühlen der Behälter und des Füllgutes bewegt werden.

The plant (10) comprises a washing chamber (12) to wash the trolleyed objects (1 1), and an extraction device (13) working under traction, to extract the trolleyed objects (1 1) from inside the washing chamber (12) to an unloading zone outside the washing chamber (12). The extraction device (13) comprises an unloading structure (15) defining the unloading zone, a movement mechanism (16) assembled on an upper wall (19) of the unloading structure (15), and an extraction arm (17) assembled on the movement mechanism (16) and provided with attachment members (22) which cooperate from above with the head wall (1 1a). The movement mechanism (16) moves the extraction arm (17) between a first position, in which the attachment members (22) are inside the washing chamber (12) and cooperate from above with the head wall (11a), and a second position, in which the attachment members (22) are outside the washing chamber (12) and carry out the extraction of the trolleyed object (11).

The subject of the invention is an automatic airconditioner disinfection system, making possible the elimination of the microorganisms settled in the filter units, air-tube systems and heat exchanger systems of air conditioning equipment, ensuring this way the supply of contagious matter-free, clean air. The automatic airconditioner disinfection system, according to the invention, containing a cartridge, disinfectant, a vaporizer head, which is characterized by that, cartridge(s) (3) filled with quantity of disinfectant (8) under overpressure, proportioned to the capacity of the flues (4) of the air-conditioning system are located in the air- conditioning unit (1) of the air-conditioning system, or in the storage unit (19) placed directly next to the air-conditioning unit (1), where said cartridge(s) (3) is automatically trimmed-off, interposing a manual, or electronic timer switch, in a point of time and order, determined in advance, at the receipt of the signal from the starting switch (6), and in given case the disinfectant (8) is injected (BE) into the flue (4) of the air- conditioning system through the conduit (18) and the vaporizer head (10), then the disinfectant (8) is kept in the flues (4) of the air-conditioning system for a proper contact time, then after the expiry of the cleaning phase (TI) it is removed from the flues (4) of the air-conditioning system by ventillation (SZE). The automatic airconditioner disinfection system accoeding to the invention, containing unit radiating ultraviolet light, and lamp, which is characterized by that, a unit, and lamp(s) radiating ultraviolet light are placed at the access of the flue (4) leading out of the air-conditioning unit (1) of the air-conditioning system, or in case of demand at the proper points of the flues (4) of the air-conditioning system in such a way, that with the help of the interposed manual or electronic timer switch at proper time periods the surface of the flues (4) and the air flowing through the full cross-section is transilluminated in a proper extent.

An apparatus for sterilizing and/or deodorizing objects is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, such an apparatus includes an ozone source (102) to provide ozone, and a hydrogen peroxide source (104) to provide hydrogen peroxide. A mixing element (106) intermixes the ozone and hydrogen peroxide to produce a mixture comprising oxidizing radicals. An applicator (116) applies the mixture to an object before the oxidizing radicals decompose. The oxidizing radicals in the mixture work to oxidize organic substances, thereby interrupting the life cycle of living organisms and/or destroying or neutralizing odors. In selected embodiments, the applicator (116) disperses the mixture into a closed environment, such as a substantially sealed room or enclosure, to sterilize and/or deodorize objects contained therein. A corresponding method is also disclosed herein.
