摘要: Automated alert system software may interface with an electronic medical records (EMR) system and provide interested individuals with immediate notifications of critical changes during a patient's course of treatment in a hospital. This may reduce or minimize the amount of time it takes to notify families of critical moments during a hospital admission, for example. The automated alert system software may interface with the hospital EMR system by directly reading and extracting the necessary information from the database, such as the patient name and emergency contact information.

摘要: The invention relates to a method (M) for acquiring and for altering a configuration of a number of objects (4) in a procedure room (6) for planning and for collision avoidance during a medical procedure, wherein each object (4) is represented by a virtual model (8), comprising a physical model (10) of said object (4) and a safety zone (12) around the physical model (10), the physical model (10) representing the configuration of said object (4) and the safety zone (12) representing a collision-prevention area for a movement of any of the objects (4) during a medical procedure, wherein the virtual models (8) of the objects (4) are placed at a position in a virtual model (22) of the procedure room (6), and wherein the configurations of the physical models (10, 26) during the medical procedure are computed and the configuration of the physical model (10) of the corresponding object (4) is altered, when a collision during the movement is determined. The invention further relates to a device (42) for executing said method (M).

摘要: Methods and systems for studying clinical pathways. Methods and systems described herein implement a two-stage clustering approach for learning clinical pathways. A first clustering procedure is executed on patient data to sort the data into clusters based on clinical path structure. Then a second clustering procedure is executed on the data based on the combination of clinical path structure and relevant contextual variables that affect clinical pathways.

摘要: One or more time-varying signals (502, 504, 506, 510) from continuous monitoring of an individual or the individual's environment are processed in a non-linear fashion to develop signatures (552) for those signals to assess the individual's health. Qualitative data (508) such as individual, family, and/or health care provider reporting of activity or status, and lab data (512), may also be used. The system may compute an integrated likelihood of the individual experiencing an illness or condition, which is provided (560, 562) to the individual and/or a training or health-care provider for the individual, and updated on a time schedule, giving pre- symptomatic notice of illnesses and early identification of conditions. The system may also optimize a course of performance training and diet. Further, by incorporating treatment data, the invention may be used in forming a quality measure of the individual's care, health, function, risk of adverse or undesired event, and efficacy or lack thereof of medical treatments or other necessary interventions.

摘要: Methods and apparatus providing a patient digital twin are disclosed. An example apparatus including an example patient digital twin includes a data structure created from a combination of patient electronic medical record data and historical information, the combination extracted from information system(s) and arranged in the data structure to form a digital representation of the patient. The example patient digital twin is arranged for query and simulation. The example patient digital twin is to receive feedback regarding the patient following a procedure conducted on the patient. The example patient digital twin is to incorporate the feedback into the patient digital twin when elements for the procedure have been completed. The example patient digital twin is to process the incorporated feedback to generate and output a recommendation for follow-up with respect to the patient based on the digital representation of the patient including the incorporated feedback with respect to the procedure conducted.
