    Abstract: A system for clearing a blockage from an esophagus of a patient can include a sheath assembly that includes a sheath configured for insertion into the esophagus and an imaging device coupled to a distal end of the sheath. The sheath can have a sufficient length to be advanced sufficiently far through the esophagus to permit the imaging device to detect the blockage. The sheath assembly can further include a positioning element that is capable of transitioning from an undeployed state to a deployed state to contact the esophagus to space the lumen from the esophagus. The system can further include a catheter assembly that includes a catheter sized to pass through the lumen of the sheath and a cutting tip for cutting a morsel from the blockage as suction is applied to the blockage via the lumen of the catheter.

    Abstract: Medical devices for delivering compositions or medical articles to a patient are disclosed. The medical plug delivery devices can include a fluid delivery device (e.g., a syringe), a frame, and a rotatable magazine. The rotatable magazine can include a plurality of chambers that each hold a composition or a medical article (e.g., a medical plug). By rotating the rotatable magazine relative to the frame, material within the chambers of the rotatable magazine can be sequentially deployed to a patient.

    Abstract: Implantable device embodiments, such as stents, and particularly esophageal stents, formed of a scaffolding structure are disclosed. The scaffolding structure is formed of one or more strand elements arranged in a braided pattern. A covering may coat the scaffolding structure. A valve can be secured to the scaffolding structure and/or the covering. Anti-migration features may be formed by bends in the one or more strand elements.     Abstract: The embodiments disclosed herein relate to a valve that is configured to be coupled to a stent. The valve may include a body, a rim, and an opening. The opening may include three or more leaflets that are configured to open and close. The valve may further include a reinforcement member that may be coupled to the rim. The reinforcement member may be formed of a mesh or mesh-like material or may be made of a polymeric film. The reinforcement member may aid in preventing a stitching element from tearing through the rim of the valve and may be coupled to the inner diameter or the outer diameter of the rim. The reinforcement member may also be molded within the rim.
