Abstract:
A fly/drive vehicle (1) has a road riding condition and a flying condition, and is easily convertible between the road/riding condition and the flying condition. The vehicle comprises a body (10) with a passenger compartment (11) and a drive compartment (12), at least one steered wheel (13) and at least one driven wheel (14), and a propulsion propeller (20). The propulsion propeller has a central propeller base (21) projecting outside a longitudinal end of the vehicle, and two propeller blades (22) hinged to the central base (21). In the flying condition, the propeller blades are in an.operative spread-out position, in which they extend substantially in line with each other substantially perpendicular to the propeller's rotation axis. In the road riding condition, the propeller blades are hinged about substantially vertical hinge axes to be directed more parallel to the longitudinal direction.
Abstract:
A gripper apparatus (100) comprises: a gripper frame (110) and a gripper beak (120); an actuation mechanism (130) for actuating the gripper beak; a clamping force generator (133) biased to exert a clamping force on the gripper beak; a transmission mechanism (170) comprising an input member (175) that is vertically dispiaceabie with respect to the gnpper frame, wherein the transmission mechanism engages the actuation mechanism such that a high position of the input member corresponds to a closed position of the gripper beak while a downward displacement of the input member corresponds to a transition of the gripper beak to an open position; a vertically dispiaceabie carrier coupisng device (140) that in a lower rest position presses down on the input member; a latch mechanism (180), preferably of alternate push-push type, for holding the gripper beak (120) in its open position.
Abstract:
The use of a planetary system (270) in a crank torque sensor assembly (200) for an electrically assisted bicycle (1) is described. The bicycle comprises a crank set (100) that includes a crank axle (110) mounted for rotation with respect to a bottom bracket (10), and a chain wheel (300) for driving a chain (3). The crank torque sensor assembly (200) comprises a planetary system that includes a ring wheel (210), a sun wheel (220), and a plurality of planetary wheels (230) mounted on a planet carrier (231). The ring wheel is stationary with respect to the frame part (10). The sun wheel is attached to the chain wheel. The planet carrier is attached to the crank axle. The torque sensor comprises a deformation member (273) arranged between the ring wheel and the bottom bracket, and provides an electrical measuring signal proportional to the torque (Ti) exerted by the cyclist.
Abstract:
A beer mat has an upper surface provided with a relief pattern (4,5,6). In order for the beer mat to be usable at both sides, preferably both surfaces of the beer mat are provided with a relief pattern (4,5,6). In a suitable embodiment the relief pattern (4,5,6) is implemented in the form of ribs (4). These ribs may be straight, but they may also be for instance curved. The ribs may be mutually parallel, and/or cross each other. The ribs may be radially directed. The ribs maybe continuous or interrupted.
Abstract:
Transmission chain comprising rocker assemblies each having a first and a second elongate rocker pin of which pins at least one is destined to co-operate with its respective end surfaces in a torque transmitting way with the opposite conical surfaces of a pair of pulley sheaves, said pins crossing openings in links which interconnect the rocker assemblies and which have, in the lengthwise direction of the chain, a certain pitch length which is determined by the distance between corresponding contact lines present in each of the two respective rocker assemblies contained in the link, said links being distinguishable in first links with a pitch length of a first value (L1 ) and second links with a pitch length of a second value (L2), the links having a pitch length with the second value (L2) being chosen from the collection of links of which he marking number is a prime number from this series, possibly completed with the number 1.
Abstract:
A method is described for emulating authentication federation between a source domain (A) and a target domain (B). A user in the source domain wishes to gain access to a target application (3) in the target domain. The target application needs to receive authorized user credentials (UCB); The target domain (B) comprises an Authentication Federation Emulator (20) comprising a relationship between a Request Acceptance Token (RAT) and user credentials (UCB) associated with a specific user. After having obtained the Request Acceptance Token (RAT) from a federation site (4) of the target domain (B), the user accesses the Authentication Federation Emulator (20) for obtaining the corresponding user credentials (UCB) and sends them to the target application (3).
Abstract:
A composition to protect surfaces, such as steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, polyethylenes, polypropylenes, polyacrylates, polyesters, wood, aluminium, ceramics and glass, very efficiently and long lasting, comprising monomeric or dimeric low molecular weight epoxy-containing diluents and a curing agent comprising a superacid and a radical precursor.
Abstract:
A trolley (1) comprise a cabinet-shaped body with mutally opposed longitudinal side walls (11; 12) and at least one door (14; 16), provided with a flexible, elongate connection element (100) extending in transverse direction and having its ends connected to the longitudinal side walls (11; 12) such as to counteract outward bulging of these walls.
Abstract:
A service drawer for a trolley (1) comprises: a drawer body (11) with a bottom (12) and side walls (13, 14); a working plate (15, 25) having a storage position with respect to the drawer body and having an operative position with respect to the drawer body and capable of being moved from the storage position to the operative position and vice versa. In the storage position, the working plate is withdrawn within the outer contour of the service drawer and the service drawer can be placed in the trolley. In the operative position, the working plate projects from the service drawer and provides a substantially horizontal working surface.
