    Abstract: A system can include a processor couple to the one or more non-light emitting, variable transmission devices. The processor can be configured to receive a first data from the one or more non-light emitting, variable transmission devices without sending a request, send a first request to collect a second data from the devices, determine whether either the second data is received or a first time-out frame is reached, if the second data is received before the first-time out frame is reached, then send a second request to collect a third data from the one or more non-light emitting, variable transmission devices, and if the first-time out frame is reached before the second data is received, then requeue the first request for the second data and send the second request to collect the third data from the one or more non-light emitting, variable transmission devices.

    Abstract: A scintillation crystal can include a cesium halide that is co-doped with thallium and another element. In an embodiment, the scintillation crystal can include CsX:Tl, Me, where X represents a halogen, and Me represents a dopant selected from the group consisting of chromium (Cr), zirconium (Zr), cobalt (Co), manganese (Mn), cadmium (Cd), dysprosium (Dy), thulium (Tm), tantalum (Ta), and erbium (Er), the dopant concentration of the element selected from the group consisting of chromium (Cr), zirconium (Zr), cobalt (Co), manganese (Mn), cadmium (Cd), dysprosium (Dy), thulium (Tm), tantalum (Ta), and erbium (Er) in the scintillation crystal is in a range of 1x10-7 mol% to 0.5 mol%. In a particular embodiment, the scintillation crystal may have a cesium iodide host material, a first dopant including a thallium cation, and a second dopant including a cation.

    Abstract: An adhesive may include an adhesive structure and an adhesive composition. The adhesive structure may include a graft copolymer. The adhesive composition may include at least about 1 wt.% and not greater than 40 wt.% of a macromonomer component for a total weight of the adhesive composition, at least about 50 wt.% and not greater than about 98 wt.% of a (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A for a total weight of the adhesive composition, and at least about 0.1 wt.% and not greater than about 30 wt.% of a tackifier component for a total weight of the adhesive composition. The macromonomer component may have a weight-average molecular weight of at least 1000 g/mol and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least about 40 °C. The (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A may have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not greater than about 20 °C.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a low friction bearing liner for a solenoid that may include a core layer, a first outer layer overlying a first surface of the core layer, a second outer layer overlying the first outer layer, a first inner layer overlying a second surface of the core layer that is opposite of the first surface of the core layer, and a second inner layer overlying the first inner layer. The first outer layer and the first inner layer may include a fluoropolymer material and may have a melt flow rate of at least about 2 g/10 min at 372°C. The second outer layer and the second inner layer may include a fluoropolymer material distinct from the fluoropolymer material of the first outer layer and may have a surface coefficient of friction of not greater than about 0.2.
