Abstract: The present invention is directed to improvements in and relating to supporting apparatus (1). In particular, the invention relates to aspects of the manufacture, assembly, portability and operation of an improved rehabilitation standing frame. The standing frame includes table means (2) and frame means (3). The frame means includes a base (4) and support legs (5). The supporting apparatus is characterised by the base and the support legs being configured to operate between a collapsed orientation for storage and portability and an extended orientation for use. The supporting apparatus is adapted to enable wheel chair access and is adjustable, to enable both physiotherapists to provide standing rehabilitation in patient’s homes and to enable patients access to a portable adjustable frame that will enable them to continue standing rehabilitation both in the home and when travelling. Further, the rehabilitation standing frame’s adjustability enables its use to be tailored to the requirements of potential and actual users.

Abstract: A mobile patient lift and transport apparatus (50) for lifting and moving an incapacitated or partially incapacitated person from one location to another in a substantially forwardly leaning and supported position.
