Abstract:
Landscaping blocks for decorative edging are designed to form overlapping or interlocking joints between adjacent blocks, so that weed growth between the blocks is prevented or deterred when the blocks are arranged as a border or edging.

Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to horizontally and vertically linked paving stones (10). According to the invention, projections (18) and recesses (19) are provided in the area of the bottom part (16) of the paving stones (10) used for a paved surface in order to link said paving stones horizontally and vertically. These projections and recesses engage with each other with a positive fit so as to interlock adjacent stones in a horizontal and vertical direction. The paving stones (10) are characterised in that the width of the joints (32) formed between adjacent paving stones (10) increases in a downward direction so as to form a gap which diverges downwards. This means that the material used for filling the joints can be introduced efficiently and reliably as far as the underside.
Abstract:
A paving stone kit for forming a closed-surface paving stone composite with linear outer delimitations (2, 3, 2', 3') and at least right-angled corners (4, 5) consists of a foundation stone (1) in the form of a regular hexagon, and of filler and/or compensation stones of various forms of contour, which coincide at least in the length of one edge or in at least one corner angle. The filling and/or compensation stones (1', 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 20, 21, 23, 24, 24') have only corner angles (7, 7') equal to or more than 90 DEG , and have at least one edge, the length of which corresponds to the basic length (8) of the edges of the foundation stone (1), to half a basic length (8'), or to the opening width (9), or a fraction thereof (9', 9'', 9'''), of the foundation stone (1). Upon arranging an obtuse angle (7') in the middle opposite an edge, the length of which is greater than the basic length (8), the edges bordering this edge each have the basic length (8).
Abstract:
The innovation is meant for use as of example pavement tile, or a tile in general. By the tiles characteristic design where the sides are known by its asymmetrically vertically and horizontally form, by in and outward bent in a parallel function towards each other in both base planes and hereby will grip in to each other by interaction overlapping laying, and in spite of the joints will interlock each other in a three-dimensional way. The tiles will hereby create a "bridge construction", meaning that they are relatively insensitive to the ground, soil underneath, which will reduce construction costs. The tiles are spreading out point loads to neighbour tiles, and the total load capacity will increase extremely. The tiles cannot move horizontally or vertically and are therefor a guarantee to a smooth surface, without risks for stumble and accidents.
Abstract:
An interlocking paving stone (10) which has a twelve-sided main section (12) and an eight-sided tail section (14) which are integral with each other, coplanar, and symmetrical about a longitudinal plane (60) perpendicular to the paving stone which bisects it into two equal longitudinally extending sections. The relationship of the lengths of the sides to each other and angles they define are such that a large number of different interlocking patterns are possible which exhibit a high degree of interlock along both opposite edges and both opposite ends of the stones.
Abstract:
The fracture-free paving block (1) comprises a cement block substrate (1-1) and a top solid layer (1-2), and is characterized in that the top layer is selected from a cured cement mortar layer and a tile-like layer firmly bonded to the substrate with cement mortar; the top layer is bonded to the block substrate with lateral margins (2) of 1 to 8 mm wide in horizontal distance (15) from the peripheral edges of the substrate; and the vertical distance (16) from the surface of the top layer to the peripheral edge of the substrate is 5 to 50 mm. The method for producing the paving block (1) having a tile-like top layer comprises applying adhesive cement mortar between the back of the top layer (1-2) and the upper surface of the substrate (1-1); placing the top layer on the substrate with the above-mentioned margins (2) of the substrate surface; and applying vibration and/or pressurization between the top layer and the substrate.
