Abstract:
The invention relates to horizontally and vertically linked paving stones (10). According to the invention, projections (18) and recesses (19) are provided in the area of the bottom part (16) of the paving stones (10) used for a paved surface in order to link said paving stones horizontally and vertically. These projections and recesses engage with each other with a positive fit so as to interlock adjacent stones in a horizontal and vertical direction. The paving stones (10) are characterised in that the width of the joints (32) formed between adjacent paving stones (10) increases in a downward direction so as to form a gap which diverges downwards. This means that the material used for filling the joints can be introduced efficiently and reliably as far as the underside.
Abstract:
A molded siding member having a plurality of longitudinal support portions extending substantially the entire length of the member contained therein, each support portion presenting a cross-section generally shaped like that of an I-beam. The support portions, which are parallel and adjacent to each other, are integrally formed with the siding member from cementitious slurry, including gypsum cement and a latex/water mixture, or hydraulic cement. An amount of the slurry is added to a mold in which longitudinally- oriented core elements are provided that displace cementitious slurry between and define adjacent support portions. After sufficient curing, the siding member is removed from the mold and is ready for immediate use and/or further processing. Alternatively, a continuous method is also provided for producing relatively long lengths of the siding that can be cut to an appropriate size, without the need to produce individual siding members of limited size.
Abstract:
Allows tesseras to be obtained with optimal results in the creation of a mosaic. A terracota support is realised of an optimal size of 100x100 mm and a thickness of between 1.5 and 3 mm, subject to allowances for working, also by a craftsman, The support 1 made to allowances for working, also by a craftsman The support 1 made out of clay, before firing is scored or moulded on the rear part with grooves which are regular, parallel and perpendicular or oblique, at a distance of betwen 5 and 10 mm (or other, according to requirements) with a depth of between about 0.75 and 1.5 mm. After the first kil firing, one then proceeds to the kiln glazing of the front part 2. The grooves 3 allow an easy and regular breaking of the glazed tile. With its breaking the tesseras are obtained, with perfect edges and the rear part no visible, thanks in particular to the reduced thichness. This then allows an easy resizing with side-cutting nippers of the tessera and the adaptation thereof to the design.

Abstract:
The present invention concerns a plug element (50) for the formation of a cavity in a pillar. In accordance with the invention, the plug element is covered externally, at least in part, by a covering (65) comprising one or more protuberances (60). Moreover, connection means (60', 69) are further foreseen to connect in a removable way the covering (65) to the plug element.
Abstract:
A process for realising solar panels, of a type in which incident solar energy is transmitted to a liquid present and circulating in cavities predisposed internally of the panels, comprising following main stages: forming slabs (1) exhibiting, on at least a first surface (10) thereof a plurality of reliefs or projections (11) arranged in a predetermined design; possible covering of the surface of the first surface (10) with a glass-based material or the like; stable and solid coupling in a single body of two slabs (1) for superposing the first surface (10) of one on the first surface (10) of another such that the tops of at least part of the relative reliefs or projections (11) are reciprocally contactingly facing.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an inorganic board comprising a core layer containing a high viscosity inorganic material and an embossing pattern layer formed integrally with the core layer and containing a low viscosity inorganic material, and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an inorganic board having substantially excellent durability by imparting embossing and colors to a surface of a product itself through an embossing pattern layer formed integrally with a core layer. Further, the present invention has a merit in that productivity and economic efficiency of the manufacturing process can be substantially improved by manufacturing an inorganic board through a continuous process without an additional secondary process.
Abstract:
A mold box (10) for forming differently sized retaining wall blocks includes first and second end walls (20, 26) and first and second sidewalls (22, 24), which define an opening therebetween. A first divider plate (32) is provided to the opening and located relative to the first and second end walls to divide the opening into a first section and a second section. The width of the first section is greater than the width of the second section. Additional divider plates (30) may be provided to the opening to define additional sections wherein slugs for wall blocks formed by each section will have different widths.
