Abstract:
The invention concerns an arrangement for detachably securing a disc-shaped tool (4) disposed on a drive spindle (2), said arrangement comprising a quick-gripping system (1). The disc-shaped tool (4) is disposed between a counter flange (3) and the quick-gripping system (1), the latter comprising a nut (5) which engages a threaded stem (6) and is provided with a flange (7). Clamping members (13) are disposed between a setting collar (12) disposed concentrically to the drive spindle (2) and a radially displaceable intermediate member (9). A clamping disc (8) and the flange (7) delimit a radially tapering gap (17) into and out of which the intermediate member (9) can be moved.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a bearing for a shaft on which are mounted grippers designed to feed material into a printing machine, the bearing comprising biased roller bearings with no play. The freedom from play thus ensured for the gripper shaft gives improved printing quality since the material on which the printing is being carried out no longer needs to compensate for movements caused by the bearing as is the case in the prior art.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a master cylinder intended for a hydraulically actuated friction clutch which is connected to a pedal via a piston rod (17) articulatedly supported in half-shells (14) surrounded by a piston rod sleeve (10) connected at the end away from the piston rod (17) to a piston (7) which can slide longitudinally in a guide sleeve (6) in the master cylinder (1) and thus defines a pressure chamber (8) at its face. According to the invention, the half-shells (14) fill an inner chamber of the piston rod sleeve (10) without clearance, while the half-shells (14) have a domed recess (15) in which a ball head (16) of the piston rod (17) is positively held and the piston rod sleeve (10) forms a unit with the radially stepped piston (7).
Abstract:
In a device (1) for the optional actuation of at least one gas exchange valve consisting of two sections (2, 3) which can be connected as desired via radially movable connecting means (7), the return of the hydraulic fluid applied to the connecting means (7) to move them is to be facilitated, especially at low ambient temperatures of the internal combustion engine and hence with a highly viscous hydraulic fluid. The invention proposes to install a relief channel (20) fitted with a shutter (18) in the return line. As the volume flow rate of hydraulic fluid at such a shutter (18) is largely independent of viscosity, the connecting means (7) will be reset sufficiently quickly even at low ambient temperatures.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hydraulic clearance equaliser for the valve gear of an internal combustion engine as specified in the characterizing portion of claim 1. According to the invention, there is an additional component (17, 24, 27, 28) with recesses (18, 25, 26, 29) between the upper (2) and lower part (3) of the piston. Oil leaking from the pressure chamber (7) is returned to the front section (5) through said recesses (18, 25, 26, 29) via the annular space (not described in detail) between the housing (1) and the lower part (3) of the piston.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a valve arrangement inserted into a hydraulic system, comprising a housing (17a, 17b) having two terminals (22, 23) and a body (14) which bears on a valve seat (6) in a neutral position. According to the invention there is a valve unit (11) having two staged valves (15a, 15b) spaced apart and each allocated to one direction of flow, the bodies (14) of which are spring-loaded.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a master cylinder for a vehicle hydraulic clutch- or brake-operating system. The cylinder is linked to a foot-operated pedal via a piston rod and comprises a housing in which a piston can slide longitudinally so as to form a seal. According to the invention, a seal support (8a) is fitted in the housing (3) so as to be flush with the latter and serves to guide the piston (2) and maintains an axial separation between a primary seal (10a) and a secondary seal (14a).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a motor vehicle clutch release unit (1) comprising a housing (2) which is disposed about a drive shaft or the like and in which is guided an annular piston (6) at one end of which is disposed a release bearing (7) supported on the clutch. Irrespective of the position of the release bearing (7), the latter is acted upon by a pressure spring (10) which is supported directly or indirectly between the housing (2) and a bearing ring of the release bearing (7). According to the invention, in order to secure the pressure spring (10) in position, the latter is provided with an external or internal guide device in the region of support faces (13, 14) on the housing (2) and on the inner bearing ring (8).
Abstract:
The invention relates to the compensation of undesired overpressures in a high-pressure chamber (14) of a clearance compensator as may, for instance, be applied to cam followers or belt or chain tensioners. To this end, in the high-pressure chamber (14) there is an elastic or axially movable component (21, 24), the compressibility or axial mobility of which tends to enlarge the high-pressure chamber (14) to reduce the undesired overpressures.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a stop device for fixing in a position a movable setting element, especially for a gear shift rod of a mechanically shifted, toothed gear change box in vehicles, which has a movable stop pin and is equipped with an electrical switching element. A compensating element (16a) is provided between the stop bolt (8) and a component of fixed position in the stop device for purposes of compensating for position tolerances and improving precision in shifting.
