    摘要: The present invention relates to an electrostatic image-developing toner which contains binding resin, a coloring agent, and a releasing agent, as well as to a toner composition and to a method for producing the toner composition. The electrostatic image-developing toner is produced by: (1) a suspension polymerization process (S1) comprising: 1-1) a step of preparing an aqueous dispersion medium; 1-2) a step of dispersing and dissolving a polymerizable monomer mixture; 1-3) a droplet-preparing step of micronizing the liquid prepared in step 1-2) into the liquid prepared in the step 1-1) with high shearing force; and 1-4) a step of radically polymerizing the microparticle liquid droplet prepared in step 1-3); (2) a seeded polymerization process (S2) comprising: 2-1) a step of dissolving and dispersing the releasing agent; and 2-2) a step of the seeded polymerization of the liquid prepared in step 2-1); (3) a process in which particles produced in the suspension polymerization process (S1) and in the seeded polymerization process (S2) agglomerate; (4) a process of fusing the particles agglomerated in process (3) by means of heat; (5) a process of cleaning and drying the toner produced in the process (4); and (6) a process of adding an agent for providing the toner produced in the process (5) with electrostatic properties and flowability.

    摘要: A natural oil-based toner resin for producing toner in developing electrophotographic image comprising a copolymer of unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl monomers, wherein the polyester resins have a molecular weight of 500 to 30000 and obtained from polycondensation between a polycarboxylic acid, a natural oil or derivative thereof and a polyol. The toner resin in emulsion form is mixed with fine suspensions or emulsions of a colourant and a charge control agent; and a flocculating agent is incorporated therein to induce aggregation for forming particles of desired sizes, and subsequently the temperature is suitably raised to cause coalescence to produce raw toner particles of regular shape and smooth surface. The raw toner particles are washed and dried, and treated with suitable additives to produce the finished product of chemically produced toner.

    摘要: Provided are a method of preparing a toner using a micro-suspension particle, and a toner prepared using the method. The method of preparing the toner using the disclosed micro-suspension particle include preparing a mixture by mixing a resin having acidic groups, a master batch of coloring pigment, and at least one additive with an organic solvent, and then neutralizing the acid groups of the resin with a base; forming a micro-suspension by adding the prepared mixture to a dispersion medium; and forming a toner composition by removing the organic solvent from the prepared micro-suspension. Therefore, the method of preparing a toner using the disclosed micro-suspension particle and a toner prepared using the same can save manufacturing costs, and can improve charging ability and cleaning properties of the toner. Moreover, the toner can be used in electrophotographic image forming devices.
