A ready-to-mold reinforced thermoplastic sheet molding compound material comprising water dispersible cellulose filaments (CF). The content of CF being of 5 wt% to 50 wt% by dry weight. The CF have a length of at least 100 μηι, and a cross-sectional dimension of about 30 to about 300 nm, and are substantially free of fibrillated cellulose. The TP-SMC material also comprises 15 wt% to 25 wt% by dry weight of at least one filler having a particle size of up to 100 μηι; and 25 wt% to 70 wt% by dry weight of a thermoplastic fiber pulp or powder having a melting temperature below 200°C. The ready-to-mold reinforced material can also comprise a coupling agent and has a bulk density of 350 to 650 kg/m 3 and a dry basis weight of 0.7 to 3.8 kg/m 2 . A wet laid process for producing said ready-to- mold reinforced material and related molded product.

The silicon resin emulsion composition includes: (A) 20 to 80 parts by mass of an organopolysiloxane having an average composition represented by general formula (1) : ⋅ R 1 a SiO (4-a)/2 (1) [wherein R 1 s may be the same as or different from each other in a molecule, and are each a substituted or unsubstituted, saturated or unsaturated monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 25 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, a hydroxy1 group, an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and a hydrogen atom, and a is 0.3 or more and less than 2.0]; (B) 0.3 to 10 parts by mass of a silica particle having on a surface thereof a hydrophobized portion and a silanol group; and (C) water. In the composition, the silica particle (B) is disposed at an interface between an oil phase of an oil droplet formed from the organopolysiloxane (A) and an aqueous phase formed from the water (C).

The invention teaches a method of efficiently dewatering a microcapsule slurry to form a water re- suspendable filter cake of microcapsules. The process comprises providing an aqueous slurry of microcapsules dispersed in an aqueous solution; adding an agglomeration agent and dispersing the agglomeration agent into the aqueous slurry; adjusting the pH to a pH level sufficient to agglomerate the dispersed microcapsules; and filtering the aqueous slurry of microcapsules by gravity, vacuum or pressure filtration to thereby form a filter cake of dewatered microcapsules. The agglomeration agent is sodium polyphosphate, sodium tetrapolyphosphate, sodium hexametaphosphate, and/or sodium tripolyphosphate; or with anionic microcapsules or coatings even alkaline earth metal salts such as magnesium chloride, calcium chloride or barium chloride, or even aluminum salt such as aluminum chloride.

Aqueous liquid formulations contain one or more anionic polymers, a high concentration of boron compounds, and a boron dispersant or solvent. The compositions are operable to maintain the boron content thereof in stable dispersion for at least 72 hours. The dispersant or solvent is selected from saturated aliphatic diols, glycols, hydroxyl-rich compounds, alphahydroxy acids, and mixtures thereof. Preferred polymers include dicarboxylic repeat units and optional sulfonate repeat units. The formulations have heretofore unattainable high boron contents, and are useful in agricultural contexts.

The present invention relates to an aqueous epoxy resin blend dispersion of a high mw epoxy resin and a liquid epoxy resin with a dispersant having an interfacial tension such that a drop of the mixture of the dispersant in a melt of the epoxy resin blend against water is less than 2 dynes/cm, preferably less than 1 dyne/cm, and a process for preparing this epoxy resin blend dispersion. Specifically, the process is a solvent free melt kneading or shearing dispersion process wherein the dispersion is processed at from 50 to 150 ̊C, and the resulting dispersion is stable.
