The invention concerns (bio)chemical reagent solid phases consisting of a polymer or macromolecular carrier compound containing NH2 to which coupling structures are covalently bound via NH2 groups, which in turn are connected to receptor and/or indicator compounds and which thereby couple the receptor and/or indicator coumpounds to the carriers. The coupling structures consist of ascorbic acid or dehydroascorbic acid or of a compound structurally similar to these substances.
Abstract:
This invention relates to recombinant aptamer 9.3t-resistant Factor IX proteins, as well as methods of making the same and methods of using the same in methods comprising non-hemophilic subjects, including methods of modeling Factor IX replacement therapy in a non-hemophilic subject and methods of identifying genetic background effects of a non-hemophilic subject on an exogenous Factor IX replacement protein. The invention also pertains to methods of modeling gene and/or protein replacement therapy in a protein non-deficient subject and methods of identifying genetic background effects of a protein non-deficient subject on an exogenous replacement protein, as well as methods of selecting aptamer-resistant recombinant proteins and selecting aptamer-sensitive protein non-deficient subjects for use in such methods as disclosed herein.

본 발명은 코로나바이러스의 RNA 의존성 RNA 중합효소에 특이적으로 결합하는 RNA 앱타머 및 이의 용도에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 발명에 따른 RNA 앱타머는 코로나바이러스, 특히 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(COVID-19)을 유발하는 신종 코로나바이러스의 RNA 의존성 RNA 중합효소에 특이적으로 결합함으로써, 코로나바이러스의 검출 및 진단뿐만 아니라, 이에 의해 발병하는 질병의 치료에도 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

Compositions comprising multiple hydrogel particles having substantially the same diameter, but with each subgrouping of particles from the multiple hydrogel particles having different associated values for one or more passive optical properties that can be deconvoluted using cytometric instrumentation. Each hydrogel particle from the multiple hydrogel particles can be functionalized with a different biochemical or chemical target from a set of targets. A method of preparing hydrogel particles includes forming droplets and polymerizing the droplets, with optional functionalization.

The present invention provides for compositions and methods for a purified fungal carbohydrate-linked polymer bead platform, which can serve as an artificial fungus-like particle to measure specific patient immune responses to fungal carbohydrate antigens. A specific embodiment comprises a purified ß-1,3-glucan chemically conjugated to a polymer bead.

The present invention concerns a new method for antibody immobilization, which is based on the conjugation of antibodies to a molecule, such as carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), and depositing the conjugate or the still unconjugated molecule on the cellulose surface. The carboxy groups of, e.g., the CMC serve as conjugation sites for the antibodies. The invention also concerns a cellulose based biointerface, which may be manufactured using said method, containing proteins deposited on a cellulose surface, as well as the use of this biointerface for detecting a desired target from a sample.

The use of raffinose as a glass-forming agent for freeze-dried compositions intended for use in conducting chemical or biochemical reactions such as the PCR. Thus, for instance, there is provided a composition for carrying out a chemical or biochemical reaction, said composition being in a freeze-dried formand comprising (i) a set of reagents comprising at least some of the chemical or biochemical reagents necessaryfor conducting said chemical or biochemical reaction, and (ii) raffinose. Kits comprising these compositions and methods of using them form a further aspect of the invention.
