Abstract:
A controllable toy vehicle (1) for travel through a track (2) at least partly confining the vehicle (1) is disclosed. The vehicle (1) comprises a main body portion, at least one controllable motor (15, 16) and at least one driven wheel (8) protruding from the main body and receiving drive directly or indirectly from the motor (15, 16). The driven wheel (8) bears against an adjacent side (20) of the track (2) and the friction reduced biasing means (3, 6) protrudes from another side (12) of the main body portion to bear against another side (21) of the track (2) and bias the driven wheel (8) into engagement with the adjacent side (20) of the track. At least one stabilising means (4, 5, 9, 10) is provided to inhibit rotation of the vehicle (1) out of a plane through the driven wheel (8) and the biasing means (3, 6).
Abstract:
A transportable play design assembly with an open operative position, an alternative closed position and which may be folded to enclose play items therebetween when play time is concluded. The open operative position is utilized as a play surface. The alternative closed position is utilized as a transporting and storage device for play items. The alternative closed position further has a closing mechanism to prevent the play items from falling out of the assembly during transportation.
Abstract:
A racing toy game comprises a multi-track closed circuit, a respective starting gate for each respective track of the circuit, a finishing post for each respective track of the circuit. There are multiple movable elements each respectively being for traversing a respective track of the circuit and thereby racing in relation to other movable elements in other tracks. A starter is associated with each respective starting gate, the starter having been for operating the respective gates substantially simultaneously to permit initiation of the race. Initiating of the race permitting the respective movable elements to traverse a respective track from the starting gate towards the finishing post. The movable elements are represented by animals, selectively horses.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a product comprising a container, comprising a toy product and at least one collectible card configured to be used in a card game and said container having a physical shape related to at least one of said toy product and said card game.
Abstract:
A flexible vehicle guiding element which includes a segment (10) haviing a Body (12); a female connector structure (16); side walls (26,28); depressions (18,20). The guiding element is bendable about x, y, and z axes to provide trakc which curves, spirals, or can ascend or descend.
Abstract:
A generally rectangular base (11) supports a pair of gateways (23-26) at two corners thereof and a pair of resiliently powered impact-responsive rebounders (90 and 100) at the remaining two corners thereof. A flat surface (12) extends between the rebounders and the gateways. A pair of toy vehicle launchers (70 and 80) and track segments (62 and 63) are operatively coupled to each of the gateways to launch toy vehicles (20) therethrough. A plurality of elastic bands (45-56) extend between the gateways to provide resilient boundaries for the rectangular base. The rebounders and the gateways include pivotal supports (60 and 61) allowing the track segments and launchers as well as the rebounders to be pivoted for aiming purposes. A toy vehicle launched by a launcher traverses its track segment and enters its gateway. Thereafter, it strikes either a resilient boundary or a rebounder and is deflected accordingly. An additional toy vehicle launched from the second launcher may collide or otherwise interact with the first launched toy vehicle.
Abstract:
A racing car game which allows competitors to drive model racing cars on a flat track surface via control consoles. The ability to steer the racing cars on any part of the track as well as control speed and direction (forward/reverse) via steering wheel on console, with very short reaction time, gives the user a "Total racing car feel". The game is mains powered (no batteries needed) and therefore gives total unlimited playing time. The track is composed of sections allowing different geometric shapes to be designed.
Abstract:
The present invention is a control apparatus for guiding toy vehicles (12, 14) on a roadway. Preferably, a remote control hand unit (120) is employed that is most preferably optoelectric. The hand unit includes a plurality of direction keys (124) that transmit signals from the hand unit based on their electronic interconnection with an infrared LED (128) and a laser transmitter (130) in the hand unit. The hand unit transmits directional commands to control movement of a toy vehicle through the intersection (82) of a roadway. These control commands are transmitted via a modulated infrared signal that is received by an infrared sensor adjacent the roadway. Additionally, the hand unit transmits a location laser signal to one of many reception points, i.e., laser detectors (116), located adjacent each road at an intersection.
Abstract:
The present disclosure, in one embodiment, relates to a randomizer that includes a starter assembly and a collector. The starter assembly provides participants in a race with a fair start and also provides spectators with a beneficial view of the not only the start of the race, but in some cases, the race itself, including the finish.
Abstract:
A user input device is provided that includes a button-based control mechanism. The button-based control mechanism includes a button, the button including a user-depressible button top and a button stem, and a button depression guide disposed within an internal cavity of the user input device that engages with the button stem to cause the button to move from a default position and along a substantially arc-shaped path when pressure is applied to the button top. The substantially arc-shaped path may be around an axis of rotation that is external to the user input device. The button-based control mechanism further includes a button biasing mechanism disposed within the internal cavity that returns the button to the default position when the pressure is removed from the button top and at least one sensor that detects actuation of the button responsive to the movement of the button away from the default position.
