摘要： A pacer for swimmers comprising a plurality of light emitting means (LEM) contained in a housing, a programmable control station enabled to generate various rates and sequences of light emissions by the LEM, the housing securable along a bed of a swimming pool and being rollable into a wound up storage condition. The length of the pacer may be increased or decreased by increasing or decreasing, respectively, the number of housings attached to one another. The application discloses also a method for operating a pacer as above, wherein the LEM are activated or deactivated by the LEMs indivivual microprocessor performing the steps of storing a unique number, reading the data off the serial bus, deciding if the data is intended for the light unit and activating or deactivating the LEM accordingly.

All the described elements should be placed on the hanging framework, which is hanging at the edge of the pool, standing framework, which is standing at the bottom of the pool, and swimming framework, which is fixed on the swimming hoop.

摘要： An exerciser (1) for humans or animals is disclosed. The exerciser comprises a base (2) for mounting on a support surface such as the ground with an electric motor mounted on the base (2). The electric motor is coupled to a direct drive gearbox which in turn is coupled by means of a hollow shaft to a drive shaft. The drive shaft and superstructure mounted on top of it is supported by a vertical support comprising a barrel with taper bearings and a barrel support outward of the barrel. The barrel support and not the barrel is mounted to the base, by welding, so as not to compromise the close tolerance of manufacture of the cylinder. The drive shaft has a vertical axis and extends upwardly to a turntable (3) that is driven to rotate by the drive shaft. A plurality of arms (5) is mounted on the turntable (3) and each extend radially outward there from. The arms (5) are equally angularly spaced from each other and arm extensions (8) are mounted on each arm (5). The arm extensions (8) are telescopically received within the associated arm (5) and locating formations receive the arm extension within the arm by the correct length. Dividers (10) are suspended from each arm extension (8) to divide the exerciser 1 up into different compartments each of which can receive a horse.

摘要： The object of the invention is an all-purpose device for underwater therapy, exercise (fitness) and massage, which we install on a swimming pool wall. By means of different gears and hinged components movable in one direction, it enables one to perform various limbering-up exercises of the whole body in water. Water presents a natural resistance in workout, thus it is not necessary to make additional adjustments to individual devices for different strengths of a user. The all-purpose device for underwater therapy, exercise and massage according to the invention basically consists of two pairs of carriers (7, 7') and (8, 8') placed vertically and parallel to each other, or two vertical carriers (10, 20), located in the swimming pool and attached to its edge with suitable fastening components, whereas one of the carriers is fixed and the other is vertically movable and to which height adjustable assemblies are installed for limbering-up of upper and lower extremities and the whole body in the sense of exercise and massage. In such way, by adding separate exercise and massage assemblies, it is possible to construct different independent exercise devices by each having one exercise and one massage assembly.
