Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for directional LBT procedure for DRS transmission. One apparatus (800) includes a processor (805) and a transceiver (825) that is operable on unlicensed spectrum. The processor (805) indicates (905) block locations within a Discovery Reference Signal ("DRS") transmission window for a plurality of candidate 5 Synchronization Signal/Physical Broadcast Channel ("SS/PBCH") blocks. The processor (805) performs (910) a Listen-Before-Talk ("LBT") procedure for a plurality of DRS transmissions within a DRS transmission window and controls the transceiver (825) to transmit (915) – for a given spatial direction – a SS/PBCH block upon successful LBT for the given spatial direction.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for low power channel sensing for pedestrian user equipments (P-UEs). A method that may be performed by a UE (e.g., such as a P-UE) includes determining a level of channel congestion for a channel during a first sensing duration. The method includes determining a second sensing duration and a transmission duration based on the level of channel congestion for the channel determined from the first sensing duration. The method includes sensing the channel for the second sensing duration. The method includes transmitting on the channel for the transmission duration.

Abstract: Configurations for configured grant (CG) in new radio unlicensed (NR-U) systems is disclosed. CG configurations may, based on a periodicity, be provided either using a bitmap, shorter periodicity, or resource indicator value (RIV) signaling of start/end symbols, longer periodicity. Such CG configurations configure M sets of time division resource allocations. CG configuration may include common start/end symbols from for all contiguous allocations in one configuration. Common LBT starting points may be defined for all configured slots as indicated through a bitmap. The CG configuration allows for mini- and full slot configurations, in which the mini-slots are configured within the already configured CG slots. Repetition configurations include a type 1 for coverage and a type 2 for faster retransmission and reduced downlink feedback information (DPI) overhead. With multiple UEs, a UE identifier is added to the uplink control information (UCI). UEs may further ramp up power in the absence of DPI.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for determining a resource of a communication by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving, from a base station, information on a minimum number of subframes for monitoring; determining a number of a plurality of subframes to be monitored based on the minimum number of subframes; identifying the plurality of subframes to be monitored for a sidelink transmission; and transmitting, to the base station, information indicating a set of subframes for the sidelink transmission selected based on the plurality of subframes.
