Abstract: A method includes obtaining an image of a damaged vehicle and a three-dimensional (3D) vehicle model associated with the damaged vehicle. The method also includes identifying one or more damage markers that indicate damage to the damaged vehicle based on the image. The method further includes identifying a pose of the damaged vehicle within the image. In addition, the method includes mapping the one or more damage markers onto the 3D vehicle model based on the identified pose, where the one or more mapped damage markers identify one or more locations and dimensions of the damage to the damaged vehicle on the 3D vehicle model.

Abstract: A method includes generating a mixed optical beam using an optical phased array (604) that includes multiple array elements (502), where each array element includes an antenna element (504) and a phase modulator (508). The mixed optical beam includes a combination of (i) an output optical beam (1710) produced by the optical phased array and (ii) a reference optical beam (1728). The method also includes capturing near-field measurements of the mixed optical beam, where the near-field measurements are captured while scanning phase angles of the phase modulators. The method further includes generating calibration data based on the near-field measurements, where the calibration data identifies phase and amplitude responses of the array elements. In addition, the method includes storing the calibration data.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a portable device (102, 102a-102d), which includes a connector (110, 402) configured to contact or grasp a portion of a component (104) and to apply a force on the component during a pull test of the component. The portable device also includes a handle (116) configured to be pulled to apply the force on the component during the pull test of the component. The portable device further includes an indicator (202) configured to at least one of: (i) identify the force being applied to the component during the pull test and (ii) identify when a specified amount of force has been applied to the component during the pull test.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining (604) thermal information and latency information associated with multiple components of at least one semiconductor chip (102, 102a-102d). The latency information identifies multiple latencies associated with multiple applications to be executed by the components of the at least one semiconductor chip. The method also includes scheduling (610), using a run-time scheduler (134) on the at least one semiconductor chip, execution of the multiple applications by the components of the at least one semiconductor chip. The run-time scheduler utilizes the thermal information and the latency information along with run-time events to determine which components of the at least one semiconductor chip execute the applications over time.

Abstract: A system includes an intraocular pseudophakic contact lens (114, 300) configured to be implanted in an eye (102) and mounted on or attached to an artificial intraocular lens (112) in the eye. The system also includes an external lens (116) configured to be positioned in front of the eye. The intraocular pseudophakic contact lens and the external lens form a telescopic Galilean vision system. The external lens may include a spectacle lens or a contact lens. The intraocular pseudophakic contact lens may include an optical lens (302) configured to provide a minus power optical magnification, and the external lens may be configured to provide a plus power optical magnification. The optical lens of the intraocular pseudophakic contact lens may include a central portion (312) configured to provide a minus power optical magnification and an annular portion (314) surrounding the central portion and configured to provide a different power optical magnification or no optical magnification.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a strain relief (100, 100a, 100b) formed in helical shape and formed with a U-shaped channel (105). The strain relief can be used around a cable (200) of a component (205) or a spool extension (305) of a fiber tray (300). In some cases, the strain relief can be formed with multiple U-shaped channels (105). Also, in some cases, the apparatus may include a second strain relief (100, 100a, 100b) formed in a helical shape and including at least one channel (105), where the second strain relief is interleaved with the strain relief. In addition, in some cases, the apparatus may include a solid mandrel (110) connected to an end of the strain relief.
