    Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a downlink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) generated from a downlink DMRS configuration. The method also includes transmitting, to the base station, an uplink DMRS generated from an uplink DMRS configuration. A value of one or more parameter(s) of the uplink DMRS configuration differs from a value of the parameter(s) of the downlink DMRS configuration. A method of wireless communication by a base station includes transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), a downlink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) generated from a downlink DMRS configuration. The method also includes receiving, from the UE, an uplink DMRS generated from an uplink DMRS configuration. A value of one or more parameter(s) of the uplink DMRS configuration differs from a second value of the parameter(s) of the downlink DMRS configuration.

    Abstract: A method for mobility and zone management in zone-based federated learning includes receiving, at a zone management device of multiple zone management devices, a global model from a first network device associated with the global model. Each of the multiple zone management devices is associated with a corresponding zone model of multiple zone models. The zone management device transmits the global model to mobile devices in a first zone associated with the first zone model based on a zone membership. The zone management device receives weights associated with the global model from each mobile device in the first zone. The zone management device updates the first zone model based on the received weights and the zone membership. The zone management device transmits the updated first zone model to each mobile device in the first zone.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a reference signal on a wideband channel. The method further includes estimating, at the UE, the wideband channel based on receiving the reference signal. The method still further includes identifying, at the UE, a bottleneck band of the wideband channel based on a metric associated with the estimated wideband channel. The method also includes transmitting, to the base station, a channel state feedback report based on identifying the bottleneck band, the channel state feedback report indicating channel state information (CSI) associated with the estimated wideband channel. The method further includes receiving, from the base station, a transmission grant based on transmitting the channel feedback report.

    Abstract: A processor-implemented method includes retrieving, for a layer of a set of layers of an artificial neural network (ANN), a dense quantized matrix representing a codebook and a sparse quantized matrix representing linear coefficients. The dense quantized matrix and the sparse quantized matrix may be associated with a weight tensor of the layer. The processor-implemented method also includes determining, for the layer of the set of layers, the weight tensor based on a product of the dense quantized matrix and the sparse quantized matrix. The processor-implemented method further includes processing, at the layer, an input based on the weight tensor.

    Abstract: A method for generating a causal graph includes receiving a data set including observation data and intervention data corresponding to multiple variables. A probability distribution is determined for each variable based on the observation data. A likelihood of including each edge in the graph is computed based on the probability distribution and the intervention data. Each edge is a causal connection between variables of the multiple variables. The graph is generated based on the likelihood of including each edge. The graph may be updated by iteratively repeating the determination of the probability distribution and the computing of the likelihood of including each edge.

    Abstract: A processor-implemented method for processing a video includes receiving the video as an input at an artificial neural network (ANN). The video includes a sequence of frames. A set of features of a current frame of the video and a prior frame of the video are extracted. The set of features including a set of support features for a set of pixels of the prior frame to be aligned with a set of reference features of the current frame. A similarity between a support feature for each pixel in the set of pixels of the set of support features of the prior frame and a corresponding reference feature of the current frame is computed. An attention map is generated based on the similarity. An output including a reconstruction of the current frame is generated based on the attention map.
