摘要: The present invention relates to a composition which provides a material which is of high penetration resistance wherein the composition comprises rubber compound and natural plant fiber in particular of the wood fiber of Hevea sp. plant. The rubber compound can be of natural rubber or synthetic rubber or a combination thereof. The rubber wood fiber consists of at least 60% by weight of cellulose and the rubber wood fiber is further compressed using a pressing means to form sheets of fibrous layer ranging from 1.0 mm to 10.0 mm in thickness. The rubber compound of natural rubber or synthetic rubber or a combination thereof is further combined with vulcanization agents, vulcanization accelerators, vulcanization activators, fillers and chemical additives to form sheets of rubber compound layer ranging from 0.3 mm to 10.0 mm. The present invention also relates to a method in producing a laminate composition which comprises of both the rubber wood fiber layers and rubber compound layers. The rubber wood fiber layer and rubber compound layer are bonded alternately to form a laminate composition. The laminate composition comprising of multiple layers the rubber wood fiber layer and rubber compound layer is then compressed and heated to vulcanize the rubber compound and to cure the adhesive system.

摘要: A FET-based sensor with integrated microfluidics components on opposite surfaces of the substrate for biological or chemical analysis with fluid manipulation capabilities. The FET-based sensors and microfluidic elements are embedded in a single chip and on a single substrate. The contact pads for the sensor are at the opposing side of the microfluidic components and sensing element. This will ensure that only components which need to be in contact with the fluid region will be exposed to the fluid boundary while the electrical and electronics components will inherently be protected from the fluid region. This eliminates the need for very reliable and leakage-free packaging material and technology traditionally required for segregation of the electrical components to the sensing and microfluidic regions.
