Abstract: Systems and methods for automating clothing transactions. The methods comprise: obtaining user input data and/or sensor data specifying characteristics of a body for an individual; transforming the user input data and/or sensor data into a 3D graphical representation of the body; analyzing the 3D graphical representation to derive 3D body measurements for the individual; identifying clothing items based on results from comparing the 3D body measurements to reference measurements associated with clothing items having different styles, sizes and brand associations; analyzing how a fabric elasticity and a garment construction could impact a fit of each identified clothing item relative to each body part of the individual based on the 3D graphical representation of the body; and filtering the clothing items based on results of the analyzing and fit preferences of the individual to generate recommended clothing items for the individual.

Abstract: This document describes methods by which an autonomous vehicle deploys a simulation scenario while operating in a real-world environment. The vehicle's sensors collect perception data. During a run of the vehicle in a real-world environment, the vehicle's on-board computing system will: (i) receive the perception data; (ii) publish the perception data to a muxing tool of the on-board computing system; (iii) generate simulation data that identifies and labels one or more simulated objects in the environment; (iv) publish the simulation data to the muxing tool; (v) use the muxing tool to add at least a portion of the simulation data to the perception data to yield augmented perception data; and (v) use at least a portion of the augmented perception data to make one or more navigation decisions based for the autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods for operating a vehicle are disclosed. The methods comprise: generating, by a computing device, a vehicle trajectory for the vehicle while the vehicle is in motion; detecting an object within a given distance from the vehicle; generating at least one possible object trajectory for the object which was detected; performing a collision check to determine whether a collision between the vehicle and the object can be avoided based on the vehicle trajectory and the at least one possible object trajectory; performing a plausibility check to determine whether the collision is plausible based on content of a map, when a determination is made in the collision check that a collision between the vehicle and the object cannot be avoided; and performing operations to selectively cause the vehicle to perform an emergency maneuver based on results of the plausibility check.

Abstract: Systems and methods for deactivating a marker comprising an Electronic Article Surveillance ("EAS") component and a Radio Frequency Identification ("RFID") circuit. The method comprises: receiving, by the RFID element of the marker, an RFID deactivation signal transmitted from an external device; responsive to the RFID deactivation signal, supplying power from the RFID element to an EAS detuner element so that the detuner element switches from a first state to a second state. The marker's resonant frequency is changed to a first value that falls outside of the EAS system's operating frequency range when the detuner element switches from the first state to the second state. The second state is maintained after power is no longer supplied to the detuner element.

Abstract: Systems and methods for operating a Radio Frequency Identification ("RFID") tag. The methods comprise: monitoring a level of Radio Frequency ("RF") energy being received by the RFID tag; performing operations by a circuit of the RFID tag to compare the level of RF energy in a given frequency band to a first threshold value; and transitioning an operational mode of the RFID tag from a first operational mode in which a receiver is disabled to a second operational mode in which the receiver is enabled, when the level of RF energy exceeds the first threshold value. The RFID tag is able to communicate with a remote tag reader when the RFID tag is in the second operational mode and not when the RFID tag is in the first operational mode.

The methods comprise: producing, by a radiotherapy system, a fused model for a superficial portion of the patient's skin by combining structural imaging data acquired using high frequency ultrasound and functional imaging data acquired using optical imaging; generating a treatment plan for the patient based on the fused model; storing the treatment plan; detecting, by a processor, an arrival of the patient at a medical facility using first information acquired from a first mobile device coupled to the patient; obtaining the treatment plan using the first information; and causing a state of medical equipment to be transitioned from a first configurable operational state in which a radiotherapy treatment head has a first position to a second configurable operational state in which the radiotherapy treatment head has a second different position, in accordance with the treatment plan.
