    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for a multichannel cooling die. Some embodiments present a multichannel cooling die system comprising a cooling die with an inlet for entry of an extrudate into the cooling die and an outlet for exit of the extrudate from the cooling die, a cooling core that spans the length of the cooling die between the inlet and the outlet; a flow channel that facilitates the movement of an extrudate mixture from the inlet to the outlet, an outer jacket that spans the length of the cooling die, connected between the inlet and outlet, and circumferentially surrounding the flow channel forming an outer layer of the cooling die, and one or more dividers placed in the flow channel, extending through the flow channel for a first designated length and separating the flow channel into two or more separate flow channels.

    Abstract: A technique for mitigating or removing a plug of solid-state material such as wax or hydrate coalesced from hydrocarbon fluids in a subsea flowline pipe. In a normal flow mode, a flow of hot production fluid is directed from a subsea well into a production flowline pipe that extends toward a processing or storage location. Simultaneously, a contra-flow of service fluid such as monoethylene glycol (MEG) is transported along a service fluid pipe that extends along and adjacent to the production flowline pipe. The service fluid is injected into the well or into the flow of production fluid upstream of the flowline pipe. On determining plugging or a risk of plugging of the flowline pipe, a heating mode is activated in which at least some of the flow of the production fluid is diverted into the service fluid pipe. This heats the service fluid pipe which, in turn, heats the flowline pipe to disperse the solid-state material.

    Abstract: A subsea garage (36) for a UUV comprises a body (12) having a receptacle for the UUV, an open top providing a transit path for the UUV into and out of the receptacle and a base opposed to the open top, the base being arranged to lie on the seabed. At least one post (22) is movable, subsea, relative to the body into a deployed position extending upwardly from the body above the open top. A lid (16) may also be movable relative to the body between a closed position that closes the open top and an open position that allows the UUV to move along the transit path through the open top. A fixed post may extend upwardly from the body above the open top, in which case the lid may enclose the post when in the closed position and expose the post when in the open position.

    Abstract: Microcapsules comprising a core material and a wall that encloses the core material, are provided, wherein the core material comprises a hydrophobic material and the walls comprise an aminoplast polymer. The microcapsules have an average diameter between 25 and 60 μm and comprise at least 85% by weight of core material.     Abstract: A bundle section (20) of a subsea pipeline bundle comprises a rigid carrier pipe (12) having an end closed by a transverse bulkhead (26A, 26B), and one or more fluid conduits in fluid communication with an opening that penetrates the bulkhead. Fluid coupling formations such as a spigot or a recess on an outer face of the bulkhead surround the opening. Leak-tight coupling between successive fluid conduits is effected when the bulkheads of two such bundle sections are brought together. This forces together opposed complementary fluid coupling formations of the bulkheads. The bulkheads connect the adjoining bundles sections fluidly and mechanically.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process and composition of preparing and processing plant-based food products such as vegan food products, wherein plant protein and water is mixed in a defined ratio in a batch and fed into an extruder using a sausage filler, creating a system wherein air from the dough cannot leave the system and back into the feeding side. The dough is subjected to a high moisture extrusion process, wherein the air within the dough is homogeneously distributed as fine air bubbles imparting a texture and lighter color similar to a meat-based food color.
