    Abstract: A method and a device for registering to the designated router in the rendezvous point (RP) anycast of multicast communication network are disclosed. The RP corporately registers to the designated router according to the register status of all RPs in the anycast. The main RP sends the register stop message to the designated router when the RPs in anycast all do not need the register message from the designated router. When other certain RPs do not need the register message, the main RP stops sending the register stop message. Using the method and device in the invention, it reduces the situation that the multicast service in the users' terminal breaks, and saves the CPU resources of the main RP and the bandwidth resources between the main RP and others.

    Abstract: A method and device for controlling the access of a user device to a multicast service in a network access device and a network authentication device of an access network are provided, wherein also including a method and device for controlling the quitting of the multicast service for the user device in the network access device of the access network. To the user device applying some type of multicast service, authenticating the identity of the user device is required only once, after the user device passes the authentication, the network authentication device sends the access authority of the multicast service corresponding to the user device to the network access device, and the access authority is stored in the network access device. When the user device applies some item of this type of multicast service, the network access device judges whether the user device has the authority of accessing the multicast service only according to the authorization information of the multicast service saved therein.
