Abstract: An endoscope (1) with an ergonomic handle (7). The ergonomic handle (7) comprises a proximal manipulation section (9), an intermediate gripping section (10) and a distal transition section (11) from which an inser- tion cord (4) extends. The gripping section (10) comprises an outer circumfer- ential surface adapted to be gripped by a middle finger, a ring finger and a little finger of one hand of an operator. The outer circumferential gripping sur- face comprises a front surface area (21) and a back surface area (22). The front surface (21) is inclined forwardly as seen in the upward direction from the transition section (10) towards the manipulation section (9) and the back surface (22) is inclined forwardly at a lesser angle than the front surface (21).

Also, methods for retrofitting a sensor system on a training manikin are disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a monitor device for a medical visualisation system comprising a visualisation device having an image sensor configured to generate image data indicative of a view from the visualisation device. The monitor device displays a battery indicator indicative of a remaining charge of a rechargeable battery, wherein the battery indicator indicates an expected remaining battery time. In accordance with the visualisation device not being connected to the monitor device, the expected remaining battery time is based on expected power consumption with the visualisation device being connected, and in accordance with the visualisation device being connected to the monitor device, the expected remaining battery time is based on a measured power consumption.
