Abstract:
A method of dynamic authentication configuration that adjust authentication configuration according to traffic patterns within a system, such as a cellular communications network. In a network, mobile devices are authenticated based on various events, such as an attach, location update, originated call, etc. According to a first embodiment, one or more authentication configuration profiles is defined for a VLR/SGSN and a time schedule/table to automatically update the authentication configurations based on a time. Accordingly, the number authentications for a particular VLR is reduced as signaling traffic increases, and vice versa. In another exemplary embodiment, an HLR monitors system level traffic load to command each VLR and SGSN to change the authentication configurations. Authentication operations are preferably configured on per node and per traffic pattern basis.
Abstract:
A medical device is disclosed, comprising a substrate, having on its surface, on at least a part thereof, a hydrophilic surface layer providing low-friction surface character of the medical device when wetted by a wetting fluid. The substrate is made of a polymer blend comprising a polyolefin and a composition having molecules with active hydrogen(s), such as polyamide or polyurethane. The hydrophilic surface layer is preferably adhered to the substrate by a polyurea network, whereby said polyurea network forms a covalent bond to said active hydrogen(s) in the substrate. The new substrate material is environmentally acceptable and cost effective, has adequate mechanical and chemical properties and enables the hydrophilic coating to be adequately adhered.
Abstract:
The invention relates to novel tetrahydroisoquinolinyl carbamates of pyrroloindole derivatives of formula (I) having pharmacological actions and to processes for the synthesis of, and formulations containing such derivatives. It also relates to compounds which are intermediate products in the manufacture of said derivatives. These compounds which inhibit cholinesterase and are useful for enhancing memory and for treating Alzheimer's disease.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a medium-dimension con- struction element, MDCE, of wood, having a width Wm in the range 3-25 cm and a height Tm in the range 0.5-4 cm. A plurality of planks (1) are assembled into a precursor block configuration (11), and are glued together. An MDCE is formed by sawing the precursor block (11) along a first and a second plane substantially parallel with the general wood fiber direction, and preferably substantially perpendicular to each other. Thereby, an MDCE (15) comprising material originating from at least two planks along its length is formed which has improved strength.
Abstract:
An upholstered comfort member, comprising a resilient comfort material and a cover fabric. The resilient comfort material comprises lignocellulosic fibres, which provides resilient properties to the resilient comfort material, and a binder at a concentration of between 1 and 30 wt%. The binder binds the lignocellulosic fibres together. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing of such an upholstered comfort member.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a furniture board product. The method comprises providing a base board (13), producing one or more sheets of veneer (3) by drying a flitch (1) and sawing the flitch (1) into veneer sheets (3) having a thickness in the range 0.3-13 mm. The sheets of veneer (3) are glued to the base board (13).
Abstract:
A generally cylindrical aerosol generator which can be used as a substitute for a conventional cigarette has a longitudinal extending horn member (8) that carries a piezoelectric actuator (9) mounted within a main housing (4) and a mouthpiece housing (5). A cartridge (7) contains an aerosolizable liquid (28) in a chamber having an inner chamber wall (13) extending longitudinally between the proximal and distal ends (15, 16) of the cartridge, defining a receptacle to receive the horn member (8) from the distal end, a longitudinally extending outer chamber wall (17) surrounding the inner wall, a proximal inner end wall (18) bridging the inner chamber wall at the proximal end, and a proximal outer end wall (19) longitudinally spaced from the inner wall to define a discharge region (20). A nozzle (23) discharges liquid from the discharge region through the outer end wall as an aerosol (39). A capillary driver wall (24) is disposed between the inner and outer chamber walls, spaced from the inner wall to define a longitudinally extending capillary passageway (25) sufficiently narrow to drive liquid within the chamber by capillary action along the gap to the discharge region, where it is aerosolised by the vibratory action of the piezo device that is transmitted along the horn (8) to the discharge region (20).

Abstract:
A method and device for manufacturing of electrical components (15) on a continuous web (10) or discrete sheets of dielectric material (3), including the step to feed, from a supply roll (4) of a laminated web (1) or a supply of sheets consisting of at least one unbroken layer (2) of conducting material laminated on a flexible backing layer (3) of dielectrical material, said laminated web (1) or discrete sheets to a nip (6) between a patterned cylinder (7) and a cooperating cylinder (8) to shape said conducting layer into a repeated pattern of conducting material having ridges (13) and valleys (14), and the step to remove by mechanical machining conducting material from said thus shaped conducting layer. The step to remove conducting material from said conducting layer (2) is performed simultaneously with the step to shape the conducting layer (2) and by means of said cooperating cylinder designed as a milling cutter cylinder (8).
Abstract:
Supply air terminal device for a ventilation duct network, comprising a flexible bag (20) of filter material, which with the neck (21) thereof is releasably mounted on a pipe socket (1), which forms an end portion of a supply air pipe (2), which belongs to the ventilation duct network and which mouths into the room (10), the free end part (11) of the pipe socket being flanged half a turn inward for the formation of a ring-shaped pocket (12), and that the neck (21) of the bag (20) has an outward, around 180° flanged edge part (22), which is carried by a resiliently elastic tubular element, which has a shape memory to the pipe shape thereof, in which it can be received in the pocket (12) of the pipe socket.
